Bottle brought back by Wombata. Bright, clear golden color with a tight head. Big, clean hop nose, honey malts, citrus. Great nose. Minerally flavor, crackers, grass, hay. Strong bitterness. Not much malt. A bit thin. Nose and mouth are very different in this beer. Fun stuff.

500ml bottle. Pours a vibrant golden amber colour that looks quite inviting. There is a solid white head of foam and citrus hop aromas that fill the nose and are quite aromatic. The flavour is quite strong and also has some citrus going on. There is good body and some complexity in this beer and on the palate there is a pineyness that stays for a while. This is another solid effort from Epic and the label is quite catchy. hawthorne00 (4036) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle. Pale gold with a large white head (that’s ahem, downy splendour) . Aroma of gooseberries, lychees, lemon sherbet, white pepper. Soft mouthfeel. A very little light biscuit, tropical fruits, rippling spices at the crisp, bitter finish. As good as, but more Kiwi hop accented than their normal pale ale. gam (4009) - brisbane, AUSTRALIA - FEB 10, 2012

Bottle. Thanks to wombata for bringing this back from NZ. Very strong Cascade hop-like aroma with some fruitiness and a tinge of cat piss. Maybe some Saaz in the mix? Smells more like an IPA. Crystal clear gold color, really jumps out of the glass. Great deep caramel flavor balanced with the hops. Very long and nice aftertaste. Pleasant mouth feel and good carbonation on the tongue. It really seems like an IPA/Pils blend. Interesting new stuff from adventurous brewers.

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2012 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours light and clear orange with a medium, fluffy white head. Loads of bubbles and some ok lacing left around. Nose is all citrus and bready malts. A little one dimensional but pleasing nonetheless. Lots of citrus zest in the taste followed by dry biscuit malts. Dry, slightly bitter finish. Spritzy carbonation. Medium length. Solid pale but not as special as their own pale Davros (3246) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - FEB 20, 2012
Pours pale amber with a lasting white head.
Nose shows herbal and spicy hops with some faint bready malt.
Flavours are on the hoppy side, more herbal and spicy notes along with very soft caramel backing. Fairly hoppy finish with a bold bitterness. bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - DEC 24, 2011
Clear golden body with lasting head. Simple but nice hop nose with pleasant bitterness coming through in the taste, citrus and tropical fruit notes. Jimthechap (2064) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - NOV 4, 2011
Golden in colour with a fulsome white head that sinks slowly into the glass. Quite overt hoppy mandarin peel aromas with a lick of chlorophyl to it. Most pleasant. Cool and fresh and then a surge of carbonation than brings a rush of green lime tang and avocado (yes, bloody avocado) and green herbs. Got green all over it this one, but that isn’t to suggest for a moment that it isn’t ready for consumption, this is most consumable, believe me. It is a good quaffer with a long finish and a real hoppy bite to it. Perfect for a sunny afternoon, a few tunes and an eyeful of skantily clad groupies. (bottle) Clear golden with good big white head. Lovely hop aroma - floral and citrus - with hints of peppery spice. Light body, well carbonated. Sweet and citrusy start with a good long bitter finish. Lots of hop flavours but with nice level of bitterness. Overall a very nice well hopped ale.
