12oz can. Pours a pale yellow with a thick white head. Watery, grassy and bland. Not offensive but not all that good either. Meh. BillKismet (4090) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 25, 2016
Crystal blonde, well-carbonated, and with a decent, creamy wheaty head. Leafy hoppy with some greenness to it and light, fresh-milled grain nose. Watery grain body with muted hoppyness and some green notes. Sourdough and mild tannin grain finish. poisoneddwarf (2603) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - JAN 30, 2016
12 oz can. Aroma is bready, chalky candy, earthy hops, minerally. Pours hazy golden with a thick white pillowy head with good retention; leaves some creative lacework. Taste has a nice medium-level bitterness alongside a mild fruity sweetness (kind of cantaloupe-like) with flavors of wheat cracker, light hay. Nice American-style pils. pintbypint (3732) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 22, 2016
355ml can. Pale straw yellow with a small creamy white cap. Nose has straw, grains, bit of fruit. Taste has grains and straw, citrus and some fruitiness. Grassy aftertaste with light hops hanging around. Drinks alright. reebtogi (6330) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 8, 2016
355ml can pours a pale straw color with a finger of white head that settles down to some spotty lacing. Aroma is grassy with some light fruits and a herbal note. Taste is a grassy hop bitterness with a light fruity and malty sweetness finishing with some herbs. Light bodied with decent carbonation. Overall, an interesting brew for the style, full flavored and respectable.

355 ml can as “Epic Hop Syndrome Pils Lager” bought at HK Brewcraft in Central.
Looks: Translucent pale golden colour; Less than one-quarter finger head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 15 seconds; Fair sticky lacing and barely notable slight carbonation.
Aroma: Very fragrant Pils malt, with strong floral, fresh grapefruits, strong melon, pear cider, strong molasses, candy, light biscuits, yeast and light grass.
Taste: Mid to light sweet moderate Pils malt, with grapefruits, floral, honey, molasses, cinnamon, lemon, strong bitter hops and sharp grass.
Body: Mid to light body. Slick palate.
Mouth Feel: Moderate Pils maltyness in a solid thick background. The fresh grapefruit araoma carry onto the taste, very citrusy and lemony plus fairly good cinnamon and woody spices. Touch of honey and sweetness. Light but joyful!
Hoppiness: Impressive aroma with strong Lemondrop influence as in strong melon and hard candy. Calypso’s pear cider nose also came through, not to mention fresh grapefruits. Taste is grapefruits plus Crystal’s cinnamon and spice; Bitterness is notably strong for a lasting, high astringent citrus-spicy finish.
After Taste: Quite dry. Fruity and hoppy to mouth.
Comments: With or without the “Pils” alias or not, this is a compact yet seriously hoppy Lager - excellent aroma of hard candy, melon, citrus and pears, Solid hoppy taste in grapefruit and cinnamon. A bit thin in the end but that match a tight 4.5% Pilsner. If all Lagers are made like this, I just can’t get enough. Yes!
Hazy pale yellow, minimal head, with a pungent floral and citric aroma. Taste is medium bitter, gets the lager malts and tasty hops that gives it a dry balance. Hints of citrus. Very nice lager, as every lager should be. Shame on macro corn lagers! Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - NOV 19, 2015
Where and how: tasting, can 355ml Oakes (18200) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 9, 2015
Aroma medium plus intensity, floral citrus, softer follow-up. Nice malt base. Soft golden creating solid back up.
Top: smallish, snow-white, lasting with some lace on glass.
Base: pale gold, clear
Palate : medium thinner body, smooth and easy going, delicate.
Taste: balanced in approach. Leafy, grassy, herbal hop combination with sweet golden malt backbone.
other notes nice refreshing new-wave lager. Helles with American hops? Why not!
Pale, straw and bright, with a medium head. Light body, saazy taste with clean, slightly doughy pale malts. A little too timid on the hop for a body this light...it invites Bitburger comparisons and doesn’t live up. wlajwl (6948) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - NOV 8, 2015
Aroma is hops/hop resin, light tropical fruit and lager yeast. The flavor is hops/mild hop resin, tropical fruit, malts and a medium bitter finish.
