Major cut grass and hay aromas. Tastes like I just cut my lawn and put it in the glass. Dogbrick (12936) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 12, 2013
On draught at 101 Beer Kitchen, served in a snifter. The beer pours a cloudy dark orange color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and roast malt. Medium to full body with flavors of zesty citrus, resiny hops and sweet malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering grapefruit and hops aftertaste. Solid beer all around. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JUN 27, 2013
22. Thanks b! Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a loose sudsy white head. Big garlicky nose, with soft white pepper and grapefruit rinds. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty caramel and grapefruit rinds and a bit of garlic on the mid palate. Long dry peppery finish. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Extra thanks to Dallas for the bomber (Mosaic - Release #61)! Poured lighter golden with a lovely, well-retained near-white head. The aroma picked up juicy citrus, floral notes, and green grassy notes over sweet caramel and biscuity malts.. more of that pineapple and related tropical fruits toward the back of the nose.. very nice. The flavor found sweet caramel and biscuity notes at the core, with pineapple, tangerine, fragrant floral, and peppery bitterness around.. finished with spicy pine, pineapple, and floral notes. Medium-bodied and a bit slick on the palate.. OK feel and flow. This was fresh, engaging, and interesting.. great stuff! mikey (503) - farmington, Utah, USA - MAY 15, 2013
The nose is sharp with citrus zest and big, bold pine. The taste is fruit salad. With orange, lemon, and grapefruit - all fresh and in your face. Some floral hops flesh things out, until the unassuming caramel malt supporting act kicks in. Me thinks it’s the best version of this beer.

UPDATED: MAY 8, 2013 Bomber from Douglas88, thanks! I really dig this hop variety, having used it in a few brews myself. Crystal clear gold pour with a sitcky white head and nice lacing. Aroma...well...the first hit is a huge amount of sulfur and skunky hops. Not the dank, wonderful aroma of mosaic that I am used to, but skunky cat piss with an undercurrent of sulfur. Fortunately, these notes fade after the beer has had time to open up a bit, but the unpleasant first sip makes me hesitant. Once I get passed that though, it’s not a bad beer. Light caramel malt, lots of earthy hop character, floral and tropical fruit, citrus. Long bitter finish. Not bad, but MAN, that first sip...I don’t really know how to rate it. Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. The aroma is tropical fruit bowl. The alcohol comes across fruity sweet, malty, tropical hops character. Very tasty, really showcases the Mosaic hop. Sledutah (7491) - Utah, USA - APR 4, 2013
22oz bottle from The Bayou EdInSaltLake (727) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - APR 4, 2013
Appearance: Cloudy golden with a medium sized white head and good lacing
Aroma: Tropical fruits, grapefruit and lemon
Taste: Grapefruit, citrus and pine resin
This is very nice.
Release #61: Tangerine/mandarin/tropical citrus aroma and flavor. Stronger fruitiness in aftertaste. Spicy, floral. Some yeasty aroma/flavor. Pretty sweet; but not too much. Firm bitterness. douglas88 (9059) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 4, 2013
Bomber at the Bayou. This is a special version done with Mosaic hops which are not used in the regular version. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big fruity nose especially lemons. The flavor is heavy lemons and grapefruit, very light, big flavors, easy drinking, a light malty base. Excellent. I like it as much or more than the regular version.
