The nose is sharp with citrus zest and big, bold pine. The taste is fruit salad. With orange, lemon, and grapefruit - all fresh and in your face. Some floral hops flesh things out, until the unassuming caramel malt supporting act kicks in. Me thinks it’s the best version of this beer. Major cut grass and hay aromas. Tastes like I just cut my lawn and put it in the glass. Sledutah (7536) - Utah, USA - APR 4, 2013
22oz bottle from The Bayou douglas88 (9194) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 4, 2013
Appearance: Cloudy golden with a medium sized white head and good lacing
Aroma: Tropical fruits, grapefruit and lemon
Taste: Grapefruit, citrus and pine resin
This is very nice.
Bomber at the Bayou. This is a special version done with Mosaic hops which are not used in the regular version. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big fruity nose especially lemons. The flavor is heavy lemons and grapefruit, very light, big flavors, easy drinking, a light malty base. Excellent. I like it as much or more than the regular version. EdInSaltLake (727) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - APR 4, 2013
Release #61: Tangerine/mandarin/tropical citrus aroma and flavor. Stronger fruitiness in aftertaste. Spicy, floral. Some yeasty aroma/flavor. Pretty sweet; but not too much. Firm bitterness.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber. The aroma is tropical fruit bowl. The alcohol comes across fruity sweet, malty, tropical hops character. Very tasty, really showcases the Mosaic hop. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Extra thanks to Dallas for the bomber (Mosaic - Release #61)! Poured lighter golden with a lovely, well-retained near-white head. The aroma picked up juicy citrus, floral notes, and green grassy notes over sweet caramel and biscuity malts.. more of that pineapple and related tropical fruits toward the back of the nose.. very nice. The flavor found sweet caramel and biscuity notes at the core, with pineapple, tangerine, fragrant floral, and peppery bitterness around.. finished with spicy pine, pineapple, and floral notes. Medium-bodied and a bit slick on the palate.. OK feel and flow. This was fresh, engaging, and interesting.. great stuff! Dogbrick (13027) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUL 12, 2013
On draught at 101 Beer Kitchen, served in a snifter. The beer pours a cloudy dark orange color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and roast malt. Medium to full body with flavors of zesty citrus, resiny hops and sweet malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a lingering grapefruit and hops aftertaste. Solid beer all around. TheBeerGod (6224) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - JUL 27, 2013
Bottle - Release #67 - 8.4% ABV. No mention of Mosaic on the front, only on the side with the batch info. Hazy amber with a tall, rocky blond head. Aroma is strong citrus and floral hops with soft pine and hop resins. Taste is strong, juicy, wet hops, citrus fruit, tropical fruit notes, soft pine, floral hops sweet malt, light caramel notes and oily hop resins. Body is medium-full with an upfront, bubbly carbonation. Slight warmth from the alcohol and oily and bitter throughout. Ends with more citrus, pine resins, floral hops, fresh wet hops, caramel, sweet malt and light tropical fruit notes. Delicious! notalush (5878) - Denver, Colorado, USA - NOV 27, 2013
Tap at Denver Tap Room - this is pretty much what I look for in a double IPA - sweet, but not too sweet, and the sweetness is very clean and not sticky, simply making a balancing sweet base for the hops to shine - hops are highly citric, mildly resinous, quite bitter but non-abrasive - balanced and very tasty.
