Bottle [from trade with cavemanlawyer, huge thanks!] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Opaque pitch black color, medium to full sized brown head that lasts for a long time and leaves perfect lacing. Wow. Aroma is malts, wood lightly, liquorice, a slight hint of coffee. Taste malts, roast, dark malts, liquorice and firm bitterness. Full body, medium carbonation. Solid imperial stout, not complex, pretty basic but a solid stout for sure. bhensonb (15077) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 4, 2013
