Golden pour with good head.
Aroma is light fruit/grainy.
Mild bitterness followed by the 8.5% ABV.
Also a touch of cardboard (BB 10/10/17).
Not one of Epic’s better brews but still OK. explosivedog (1808) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 5, 2017
On tap. Pours pale. Peach, apricot, lots of honey, bit of an alcohol kick, some biscuit. For a silly strong lager, this is bizarrely easy to drink. Thumbs up. Samtzu (627) - Palmerston North, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 28, 2016
500ml bottle. Crisp fruity aroma. Medium body with strong carbonation. The crisp hops come through again in the beer and overpower the lager flavours which is fantastic. Davros (3338) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - NOV 23, 2016
Pours amber with a small head.
Nose shows pine, sweet clean malt, soft spicy hops.
Flavours include spicy, piny and herbal hops along with a bit of booze. mkel07 (6545) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - JUL 20, 2014
Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique June 2013. A little grainy in the aroma but the flavour makes up for it. Golden amber in colour with a soft white head. Okay as far as pilseners go.

Blond color with small head, a bit dull. Delicate malt aroma with cereal scent, light citrusy, light chamomile. Lean mouthfeel, chewy malt flavor, cereals, soft, and a mild chamomile/citrus touch; correct bitterness.
Old bottle, but nice on the malts.

Bright clear gold beer with a good white head. Mild marmalade hops on the nose. Palate is light and mildly crispy from the fine carbonation. Clean pale malt. Nice hops - marmalade orange and a little fresh grapefruit and mango. Touch of aniseed before the neutral finish. Nice lager!
Could be the bottle isn’t fresh, but the aroma is very muted, I can just smell some nameless sweetness. Taste is too sweet at the front, bitterness comes on in the middle, and the finish is a slightly cloying alcoholic bitter-sweetness. It is not bad, but not up to Epic standards. pmuzz (400) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 30, 2013
I could not believe this, $4 at warners, such a fantastic price. The beer was solid, good nose and appearance. The taste is gentle, a hint of passionfruit and citrus. I really enjoyed this! However, I would not pay A$18, a little steep. floydian1 (1517) - FNQ, Australia, - MAY 21, 2013
500ml bottle at home. Appearance of a bright golden body with loose average-sized white head. Honey malts on the nose with herbal and grassy notes and a hint of alcohol. Some tropical fruity elements in there as well (eg. pineapple, rambutan). The smooth malt bill reminded me of a Duvel golden ale but this one has less complex hopping. Finishes with a moderate dry bitterness that lingers. Remarkably light bodied for the ABV. It is a good brew but pricy in Australia at almost $18 a bottle.
