COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We have set out to wilfully maim and cripple the palates of the most extreme hop head. This act of wanton destruction is in the true spirit of what festive brews are about, to create something unique and fun. It is our intention to create a violent and needless disturbance in your olfactory senses. The riotous confusion, from the unnatural quantity of dry hopping, will leave your palate satisfyingly violated after having just one taste. Only the brave can be assured to tame this hop insanity.

Mid-amber with slight white head and hop hazy with a resinous pithy nose, clean hop profile and bite with balancing malt and a long resinous finish. Epic seem to be the Kernel of the southern hemisphere

It's like drinking toast! Amazing toasty red malt flavours dominate with big but balanced hop profile and body. Epic are uncannily genius. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear bright amber beer, good size off white fluffy head. Crispy palate. minerals. A little creamy malt. Mildly bitter tangerine - orange giving way to sweeter tangerine and then quite a bitter minerally finish. Nice but could do with more intensity.

Striking colour- bright orange with good foam. Smells great, some stonefruit sweetness.. there’s hops up front and on the back palate- lovely lingering finish goes on. Flavours were dominated by grass/spruce for me. Great beer, if somewhat underwhelming

Pours a three-finger off-white head that fades very slowly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Crystal clear amber/copper color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Resin/bready nose. Flavor is malty, bready, some caramel like an IPA without the hops. $8.92 for a 500ml bottle from Tully’s Beer & Wine Wells, ME.

Love the hop aroma, Burst of tropical fruits, passionfruit, grapefruit, resin, and pineapple. Colour is amber with a medium head, lacing. Flavour is bitter, fruity, but a little short. Mouthfeel is good. T: enjoyable.

The grassy hoppy aroma doesn’t seem to hang around, and I get some malty richness. There is tangy on the tongue, but it seems "thin" and transient, ambivalent. Not exactly mayhem or an ambush, and unlike the Cilla Black song there is "nothing there to remind me".

Deep golden pour with a small off-white head leaving a decent amount of lacings. aroma is floral english hops and taste is mellow hoppy and caramel. could have benefitted from abit more carbonation, but all in all a decent IPA.

Bottle, shared with BBGTC. Deep clear coppery orange body, small white head. Aroma is grass, licorice, peaches, hints of parsley mango and herbs. Taste is mild peachy grass tones, licorice, herbs and hints of water melon and wet leaves. The load of crystal/caramel malts is present and could have been reduced IMO. A bit low on carbonation, but smooth and nice mouthfeel. A good IPA all in all, but maybe a bit straightforward. Not so Epic, in other words.

pours a semi-hazy amber-orange with a medium size beige head, and great lacing. smell is of a little citrus, caramel, and some spice. taste is of grain, caramel, malt, some citrus, and a little spice. ends a little dry, and somewhat bitter.
