4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I really like this beer! Pours a copper colour with an off white head which sticks to the glass like glue. Massive hop aroma which is dominated by Apricots with hints of passionfruit and other citrus and peppery notes. Nice hefty hoppy bitterness which is damn well balance, making this beer surprisingly easy to drink! The only gripe I have is that my Pint didnt last me very long :o(
Bottle. Amber in colour. Very Fruity; tropical fruits, apricot, peach, pineapple, grapefruit citrus. Very Hoppy; piney oily resinous and earthy hops. Malty; sweet biscuity malts. Bittersweet very fruity hoppy throughout. Lingering bitter finish. More IPA than ASA. Very drinkable. Nice Beer! (2011-11-23)

500ml bottle picked up to share with my work buddies. We got a guy who we all mayhem so fitting in find this beer to share. Pours out copper topped with a small head. nose is sweet malts toffee caramel and faded hops. Taste is more of the sweet malts toffee notes and a little fruit. Overall dissatisfied just like the guy we work with. StevieT (2016) - AUSTRALIA - APR 17, 2014
From a 500ml bottle. Pours orange with a white lasting head, big full citrus flavours, resiny and smooth with a malty aroma. Nice work. skortila (5966) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - FEB 12, 2014
Bottled. New Zealand holiday 2011-12. Old notes. The aroma has heather/honey and flowery hops. Clear, copper coloured beer with a slight off-white head. The taste is bitter, light malty, citric and flowery. Nice. Pyrmir (6199) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - OCT 29, 2013

Malt heavy - masks the hops. I prefer upfront mega hops and way less malt. But I appreciate the high quality of this brew. Malt lovers rejoice. shigadeyo (3764) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2013

6/15/2011 Epic Mayhem... Aroma: Toasted grains, toffee, honey malt, faint hops. Appearance: Nice amber color; frothy beige head. Flavor: Light toffee maltiness; honey sweetness; earthy, slightly floral maltiness; balanced bittersweet; nothing earth-sharttering. Palate: Overall: This is a very English-style beer; New Zealand needs to go back "down under" and find some depth and flavor.
1 pint 6 fl. oz. bottle (6.2% ALC/VOL) shared by alexsdad06. Thanks Brad! Rating #178 for this beer.
Has a nice aroma, citrusy. Appearance was amber, not the best head, fairly frothy, but not bad. Very tasty brew, bitter and hoppy, quite a sharp taste, very full taste. Not too fizzy, about right, with a bitter but full bodied finish. I thoroughly enjoyed this beer, was very nice. Beerdedone (3446) - Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 22, 2013
Bottle. Pours caramel brown with a nice fluffy off-white head. Aroma was quite hoppy with pine, citrus, caramel and some grapefruit. Flavor was sweet & bitter with fruit, caramel, citrus, pine and had some mild herbal notes with a lingering bitter finish. varanid99 (1315) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 23, 2013
Copper pour with a decent off white head. Nose is piney, peach, citrus. Flavour is malty, deep, with citrus and stone fruit, mouth puckering slightly sour/bitter which gives way to long but fairly mild bitterness.
