A perfect beverage to relax with after a long day on the slopes, this extremely pleasant to drink ale has very minimal hop addition. The delicate Mt. Hood hops give it a smooth body with a bit of nuttiness and a slightly sweet malt at the end. This sessionable ale has some wonderful vanilla and honey notes that are well balanced throughout the drink.

A darker coppery orange color beer under a fairly fluffy head. The beer smells/tastes a little more (almost) skunky than I expected it to. Not like the beer was actually skunked, just a little bitter. It also was at the same time fruitier than I expected. I got a touch of nuttiness, but not as much of the English maltyness that their description lead me to expect.

Bomber, release #16. Poured clear, medium golden with a sticky white head. The aroma picked up soft, toasted honey, grains, and bready malt, with lemon zest and a touch of saltiness around.. very pleasant. The flavor found honeycomb and light, toasty grainy malts at the core.. a touch of citrus and a wash of honey around the edges and through the refreshing, slightly tangy finish. Light-bodied with a smooth, creamy flow through the palate.. left some honey and floral essence on the finish.. tasty stuff.

A - Pours a cloudy amber-orange with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some light lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of sweet biscuity malts with some fruity English yeast esters, with some nuttiness. T - Starts off with some sweet biscuit or cracker malts with some fruity English yeast esters. Through the middle, some nuttiness and bready malts come through with a bit of bitterness and some more fruitiness. The finish is a mix of sweet bready malts with fruity English yeast flavors and nuttiness. M - Medium-minus bodied with mild carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet and fruity finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice example of an English mild. Good overall balance and malt profile.

Bottle fresh from the brewery. Release #21, 5.1% ABV. I am no mild expert but this was pretty tasty. I almost wrote that the beer was fairly "mild" but I suppose thats the point. Mild without being boring. nice sessionable ale.

bomber to glass; recd in trade from gription79 Nothing bad to say - straightforward beer - aroma of malt, straw, and slight vanilla. Taste is maltiness but not overly sweet; nicely carbonated - goes down easy

Poured into a pint glass. Release #17, 4.6% ABV. 2.5 A: Moderately hazed medium orange color. Three fingers of frothy off-white head. Retention is about average and no lacing is left. 3.5 S: Lightly bready yeast and malts with a pleasant nuttiness. Thats about all. 3.5 T: Same as the nose. Lightly bready and nutty. Yeasty to round things out. 3.5 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Lightly creamy and smooth. 3.5 D: Tasty beer. Not a lot of complexity, but good enough. Bomber from the brewery store. Pours hazy medium brown with a coarse off white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is a a little smoke, peat. Taste is malty, a bit of straw. Not a favorite but then Im not a big fan of the style.

Bomber. This style is extremely hard to find where I live, believe it or not. Pours hazy golden orange with a small collapsing white head. Aroma is bready malt, vanilla, faint hops. Taste is sweet and a bit tart with only a hint of bitterness in the finish. Has a somewhat nutty flavor. Simple and easy going down.
