Sticky syrup aroma. Such a smooth taste. Watermelon notes. So light on the palate. One of my favorites. omhper (25118) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JUN 7, 2013
Bottled at Queens Head, Stockholm. Clear amber, creamy head. Rich aroma of pear, ripe mango, pine and grapefruit. Mid sweet with well sized soothing, super rounded caramellly body. Concentrated flavour of tangerine peels, grapefruit and caramel. Long bitter finish. Simply remarkable, what an awesome modern ale? davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - APR 13, 2013
UPDATED: APR 14, 2013 Bottle at Cookie. Hoppy with good balance. Aromas of caramel, flowers, grain and liquorice. Taste is sweet and bitter with long length. Palate is velvety and medium-bodied. Amber with a frothy head. slychis (3) - NEW ZEALAND - AUG 17, 2014 does not count
Great floral nose and rich amber colour at first. Not bitter, but stacks of well structured hops and lingers on the palate nicely ShaneJ (896) - AUSTRALIA - MAY 23, 2013
Bottle from Plonk. Bright, clear orange/amber, immediate aroma was musk lollies which quickly disappeared, passionfruit, pine, lychee, mango, backed up by solid malt finish. Very special.

Epic.... Is there a bad beer?? NO. Another great take on an IPA, although I probably prefer the Armageddon. Nice amber colour, nice aroma and tastes of pine, citrus and caramels. Of course a great aftertaste on the palate. Epic beer? Yes. HopRedHead (397) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 18, 2013
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours dark orange with a short, white head. Tropical fruit and floral aroma with a nice resiny spine. Taste is perfect: sweet caramel malt, pear and peach fruitiness with a nice passionfruit/grapefruit sour sweetness, dark resiny taste followed by a nice lingering bitterness. Awesome drop, prefer the armageddon though. Linnet (1832) - Karlstad, SWEDEN - OCT 20, 2013

Epic does simple really well, and this one is really nice. The malt is but an unobtrusive carrier wave for the beautiful hops, floral, citrus, all the right boxes are ticked here. Maris (1513) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JUN 16, 2013
From a 500ml on 16/6/2013. Pours a clear deep orange with a smallish head. Has a lovely fruity floral, hoppy aroma featuring with some spices and lots of bergamot. Flavour wise, its fruity (including more bergamot) and spicy, with a firm bit not overwhelming hop bitterness. Has a medium body and carbonation. Really quite subtle by I PA standards but very classy and enjoyable, as is typical of Epic.
