Golden to bronze colored, clear pour with a single finger head. Lace present. Aroma of pine with a hint of sweetness in there. Taste is full of diacetyl, artificial butter. Bitter finish hides the butter a bit, but I just can't get past that. Medium bodied. Skarecrow (1205) - North Shore, Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 13, 2017
Golden amber color with great head.

Nice one. Bule (2315) - California, USA - FEB 21, 2017

330ml Bottle. Pours a mild gold with small amounts of white head. Small nose with hints of hops and malts. The taste is similar to the nose. A strong malt base which overpowers and hop profile. Shark_Pants (782) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 7, 2017
500ml bottle BB 21 Apr 17. Clear sunset orange with voluminous white head. Lots of grapefruit and tangerine in the aroma, with caramel malt, pine and grassy notes. The taste has big grapefruit, lychee, tangerine, peach, pine, grass and maltiness with caramel and toasted bread. Light bodied and quite dry in the finish, very refreshing. A lot to love about this one.

Pint on tap at Pomeroys, Christchurch. Golden bronze beer, thin white film on top. Subdued aroma of malt and fruity hops. Light carbonation. Laces well. Easy-drinking, chalky lemon finish. Comforting pleasant pint. explosivedog (2197) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 9, 2016
UPDATED: SEP 9, 2016 330ml bottle. Aroma is all caramel with a little biscuit. Taste is some caramel up front, leading into some fruit (maybe pear). Pleasant but not too exciting. Christpuncher (3215) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 17, 2016
Aroma of fruit and rain. Flavor is light bitterness, somewhat sweet and a complex hop character. Crushable. Pours reddish orange with a cream head. babymammoth (63) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAR 22, 2016
Has a caramel nose which is not over the the top for a pale ale but it is the refreshing bitterness of the hops that make it thirst quenching. Drinks really well and is a great session beer. GoufCustom (2405) - HONG KONG - JAN 24, 2016
500 ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.
Looks: Clear amber honeyOne finger head with crumpet off white foam which lasts for 2 minutes; Beautiful sticky lacing with active carbonation.
Aroma: Very fragrant sweet Ale malt, with fresh grapefruit, lychee, apricots, strong floral, honey, molasses, light pine, lemon and strong fresh grass.
Taste: Medium sweet full Ale malt, with strong caramel, grapefruits, strong floral, pine, light resins, biscuits, spices, lemon, lime, strong bitter hops and sharp grass.
Body: Mid to light body. Slick and slightly oozy palate.
Mouth Feel: Rich Ale maltyness in a solid background. Strong Crystal’s caramel followed by good dose of Cascades - grapefruits, flower, pine, light ooze and strong spices. Moderate sweetness and dryness. Good lemony lime to round. Very good!
Hoppiness: Grapefruits, lychee, apricots, strong floral, light pine, lemon and fresh grass in nose. Citrus, strong floral, pine, light resins, spices, lemon, lime and sharp grass in taste. Bitterness is strong and sharp for a lasting, quite strong astringent bitter sweet finish.
After Taste: Quite dry. Malty and citrusy-bitter to mouth.
Comments: This one has a solid, caramel-laced malty Ale base to start, and Cascade niceness is most evident in the fresh fruity and grassy aromas, while the hop taste is firm but lack dimensions. Its APA I know, but if a feel more different C hops got into the mix, this one could explode and be right up there. Still a very refreshing one to enjoy!
