You can only drink so many beers in a lifetime, so you better make each one count. That’s where we can help. Because at Epic we’re obsessed with creating big hop-fuelled beers. This takes a shed-load of skill. It also takes a shed-load of hops. In fact there are 15 crammed into this bottle. Many brewers would call that insane. We call it flavour.
HOPS: US Cascade
MALT: English pale ale, Crystal

Poured from bottle. Answer in color with a large head. Slight fruity aroma and purely hoppy taste resembling cardboard

resiny and hoppy despite the fact that I don’t think this is very fresh. Seems older than the ipa and lager with hints of cardboard. Still pretty good, which keeps me curious...

330ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Clear orange brown, reasonable head. Resin pine hop aroma. Hoppy resin malt flavour. Bitter hoppy citrus aftertaste. Bitter hoppy aftertaste. Solid pale ale.

Draught @ Beer Deluxe, Melbourne
Pale copper beer, creamy white head.
Hoppy nose; melon, papaya, citrus, nice touch of light caramel biscuity malt.
Med-full body, moderate carbonation, some sticky resiny texture there.
Plenty to enjoy here - tropical fruity, fragrant hops, backed up by biscuity toasty malts. Bitterness somewhat restrained, hops seem to accentuate malt sweetness.
What you would come to expect from a good NZPA - good stuff!

Light bodied example of an excellent pale ale. Citrus and spice forward floral hoppiness that opens into a moderately bitter palate. A great example. Highly recommend, this is the beer that got me into craft beer.

On keg at the Bow Bar.
Appearance - not particularly pale. More a deep amber. Decent head.
Nose - a bit elusive. Citrus and pine. Resin. Dried fruits.
Taste - toffee and red fruits. Definitely raisins on the end.
Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish.
Overall - tastes stronger and more complex than the ABV. It’s hard to put this in the pale ale category.

A nice session able American Pale Ale. Nothing leaping out but overall good quality. A balanced beer and very enjoyable.

It was a big hoppy drop, a touch too much hop component for me (15 different varieties is a lot of flavour to deal with) it was good, but a bit unwieldy.

Tropical fruits and floral notes, some spiciness and hints of grapefruit. There’s another flavour I can’t pin down - apricot, maybe? This is so very different from any beer I’ve ever tried. Real nice balance, with the malt backbone just there to compliment all those hops. World class pale ale.
