COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
You can only drink so many beers in a lifetime, so you better make each one count. Thats where we can help. Because at Epic were obsessed with creating big hop-fuelled beers. This takes a shed-load of skill. It also takes a shed-load of hops. In fact there are 15 crammed into this bottle. Many brewers would call that insane. We call it flavour.

On tap at ORiley & Conways, pours a clear dark amber orange with a thick white head, the aroma has a pretty good amount of citrus and fruit with a nice malt touch as well, the flavor has a nice citrus front end with some hops and fruit in the finish as well, balanced, good stuff.

Id been avoiding this beer, until of course it won a medal in a recent beer awards thing, at which point I thought I was being contrary and picky. Turns out not so much. Although this has a lovely hop aroma and a great colour it is a bit thin and really needs some food to bolster and prop it up. In its favour it is easy drinking and the aroma and bite are always welcome. Finishes towards dry.

A Ponsy New Age Pale Ale type that kiwi brewers have mastered better than most. Complex aroma with fruity ,grassy, citrus notes and more. Well balanced sweet/sour taste that makes me want more. A superb ale.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2014 Im drinking this with fresh bluff oysters accompaniment. Yum. I like this Pale Ale, its smooth, tasty and has a creamy finish, with little bitterness. Enjoying immensely with the last batch of fresh oysters for this season, compliments them well.
