ah ha! first! Must have just put in cold case lucky me. Pours a nice coppery bronze color off-white copper head with nice lacing. Nose is bready sweet and spicy. The drink is a nice spicy rye lemony breadiness, not rye overpowering, light and crisp taste I found somewhat refreshing. Will buy/drink again.
Clear light umber color with a taller beige head. Light malt with a touch of rye in the aroma. Hints of light fruit in the backdrop. Light caramel and bits of fruit and spice in the flavors. A really tame bananas foster comes to mind. Soft carbonation and feel, with the rye adding a touch of silkiness. No real rye spice bite until late in the finish. A quite simple rye. 10/12

Nice beer. Great aroma, like the deScription - rye bread with a hint of lemon. Flavor’s like nose, bittersweet. Very drinkable. ajnepple (6428) - Denver, Colorado, USA - SEP 9, 2015
22 oz bottle, batch #34, 5.2%, purchased at the Denver Taproom. Reddish amber and slight hazed appearance with minimal white head. Mild aroma of rye, toffee, peppery spice, bread, caramel and light yeast. Moderate spicy hop bitterness in the flavor with a bit of citrus zest and a hint of malt sweetness. Crisp, light to medium body with ample carbonation and a light dry finish. Kind of hard to drink overall. Meh, it’s OK I suppose. Bottle @ The Annex. Clear amber colored beer with white, sticky foam. A lot of caramel and bready malts. Sweet toast, too. Some hints of fruity esters and a hint of marshmallow. Maybe a touch of booze on the back end...somehow. There’s a hint of apple and pear as well. Sort of grainy. ogre71 (359) - Utah, USA - JUL 31, 2015
Another good beer from Epic. Pours a dark creamy amber nice aroma you don’t need to like rye bread to enjoy this one. Would recommend.

Smell of cognac, grain, rye. Muddy brown colour, light brown head. Aroma of rye, grain, alcohol, syrup. Sweet, medium bitter. Oily texture, medium body. Surprisingly heavy for being 5.5. Flat carbon. Stuu666 (13093) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 28, 2015
Bottle at Craig’s. Pours murky amber, nose is roast toffee, peppery, taste is dry, bitter. yngwie (17038) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - DEC 28, 2014
Bottle, 22oz. An amber colored beer, lightly unclear, and topped by a big, dense, light beige colored head. Rather lemony aroma with some bready hints, spiced and cellarish. Too much carbonation, it’s medium to full-bodied and semi-dry. Caramel hints, some spiced, bready notes and lemon. Lasting finish. Rather weird this one, but sort of nice anyway. 141228 onceblind (9405) - Denver, Colorado, USA - DEC 24, 2014
Murky hazy dark amberish copper with a thick foamy off cream head. Nice doughy and earthy rye malt nose with a citrusy leafy hop tone. Lovely flavor of a clean rye doughy malt with some balanced bitter leafy hop tones and a kiss of citrus rind. Nuanced and full and tasty. And there’s a touch of black roast malt on the finish.
