Decent Saison, very tart. Nose has some good apple to it and there’s plenty again in the back of the palate. Points for being creative. Loses a little due to over-carbonation and my distaste for stuffing fruit in to an already good beer. Interesting though, I would recommend trying once. lamas (1636) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 21, 2012
22 oz. bottle. Release #6. Mine says 7.8% ABV. A hazy pale straw pour with a smallish off-white head. A moderately yeasty/funky aroma of sour lemons, citrus rinds, Granny Smith apples, candied sugar, nutmeg, cloves, coriander, mint, and some bananas. Goes down thin, crisp, and very effervescent. Candied sugar and tart green apples upfront taste-wise. Sour lemons and bitter citrus rinds at the end. Nutmeg, cloves, coriander, and ginger throughout. Wheaty and grainy. Maybe the ginger was a bit much or it was just over-spiced as a whole, but this just didn’t quite work. LilBeerDoctor (3904) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2012
Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a lot of carbonation and a thick, fizzy white head. Aroma of tart fruit, banana, lemon, bready malt, ginger, nutmeg, cloves. Flavor is slightly tart up front with lots of fruit and malty notes with a sharper tartness in the finish plus mostly yeasty and bready notes. Mild to moderate spices. The whole "sour apple" bit is rather subtle, but this is definitely on the more sour side of saisons. Tasty though!

Thanks to whoever brought this one to Ffej of July IX
A - Pours straw yellow with a bright white one finger tall head leaving light lacing down the glass.
S - Smells of your typical saison but with a big sour apple infusion. Kind of smells like a funky apple pie.
T - Starts off with a nice sour apple punch that fades very quickly into a mix of bright spices and dulled funk. The flavors are good but they all fade quite quickly. The finish is a mix of dryness and light funk, lingering for a short period of time.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation.
O - Not bad by any means but it never really blew me away either. I like the combo of apples and saison tho and with a little bit of tweaking I think this one might be a winner. smith4498 (3641) - Winter Springs, Florida, USA - JAN 14, 2012

Bomber from Brewforia. Pours light dishwater gold with a foamy white head. Smells like ginger/clove over some green apple skin. Near med body. Flavor is sort of like the aroma, but perhaps more so. There’s a lot going on here. There is no escaping the ginger and the apple, but all in all it’s sort of saison. GODiSSOUTHERN (390) - Virginia, USA - DEC 15, 2011
Nice hazy golden orange appearance. Juicy tart green apple flavor, bandaids, tons of spice, clove particularly. Nice refreshing saison. TheRealMGD (555) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - DEC 12, 2011
Bottle from Belmont Station. Hazy light yellow pour with a short white head and minimal lace. Nose is funky, medicinal/antibacterial and lightly fruity. Body is light with vigorous carbonation. Green apple, farmhouse, pepper, lemon zest, coriander and a chemical overlay that spoils it a bit. Finish is medium and has more green apple and farmhouse funk. An interesting beer that isn’t a great choice for winter or even a regular choice, but I quite like it for a diversion.
