Backlog entry. Good flavors, close to style, as expected without too many surprises. ajnepple (7076) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 23, 2017
On tap at Hops & Pie. Pale yellow colored appearance with a fully dissipating white head. Pleasant aroma of tropical juice, tart fruits, sour funk and mild pineapple. Similar flavor, adding moderate sourness and mild sweetness. Light to medium body with a thin feel, soft carbonation and a slight watery finish. Still pretty tasty overall. 375ml waxed bottle thanks to the brewer. Pours a plae gold. It is very tart and acidic. Abrasive sour. Sour pineapple. Some lambic like notes. Bit on the too sour end for me.

375 ml bottle into tulip glass; release #01, bottled in 11/2016. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy pale golden/straw color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy pineapples, lemon, lime, peach, pear, green apple, white wine, oak, hay, straw, and grass; with lighter notes of wheat, cracker, vanilla, leathery/musty funk, white vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, pineapples, oak barrel, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy pineapples, lemon, lime, peach, pear, green apple, white wine, oak, hay, straw, and grass; with lighter notes of wheat, cracker, vanilla, leathery/musty funk, white vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness; with light fruit tang and yeast/oak spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy pineapples, lemon, lime, peach, pear, green apple, white wine, oak, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, light funk/vinegar, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, pineapples, oak barrel, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from tartness/acidity, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/grainy/acidic, and lightly tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 9.2%. Overall this a great fruited sour/wild ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, pineapples, oak barrel, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink with the mellow tart/acidic/drying finish. Really great mix of complexity between fruit, funk, and oak; with just enough malt presence to balance the acidity. A very enjoyable offering. marcus (10681) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 7, 2017
Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours hazy gold with a nice white head and a fruity aroma. There is a fairly sour pale malt flavor with a lot of pineapple and a dry tart finiish. zoucrew102 (2106) - - MAR 5, 2017
375ml bottle. Sour pineapple aroma with notes of lacto, Brett and oak. Pours clear pale golden colored with a nearly nonexistent white head that has no retention or lacing. Starts with sweet pineapple with notes of lacto sourness. Finishes dry and tart with pineapple, spicy Brett and oak flavors. Nice sour.
