COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spiral Jetty India Pale Ale is the launching point in our series of hoppy IPA brews. Spiral Jetty IPA has an aggressive hop profile (five different hops used here with two in the dry hop) presenting citrus, floral, resinous or pine aromas and flavors typical of American hops and a nice pleasant, cleansing bitterness on the finish. The dominance of the hops helps to balance the complex malt flavors and the higher alcohol content. Spiral Jetty is our strongest Classic Series ale at 6.6% alcohol by volume, but certainly not our strongest beer.

TheBear11D (365) - Michigan, USA - FEB 13, 2015
Bottle poured into a pint glass. The Spiral Jetty pours a cloudy light orange with a thick beige head that lasts a long while. The aroma is citrus, floral, resin and biscuit. The flavor is citrus, floral, resin and biscuit as well. The flavors mash up at the end and don’t necessarily compliment each other. Overall this beer is fairly average.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2015 This beer is always a little disappointing. As far as IPA?s go, it is a very mild one.

3.2
Fritz123 (1535) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - DEC 20, 2014
Bottle from Vegas. Shared with Dan, Danni, and Josh. Snifter pour is very cloudy orange-brown with large head. Good lacing. Aroma is decent with pine resin, orange, lemon, and spruce. The taste was a hoppy mixture of pine, citrus, floral notes, and leather. The bottle seemed to be somewhat old with some oxidation. That made for a paper cardboard finish. Medium texture, medium carbonation. Mediocre at best.

3.3
