22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out saison yeast, some citrus notes and spiciness -- typical North American saison. Flavour is likewise a typical North American saison, followed by citrus and bready malt. Lots of cheap North American saison yeast. No good. Bottle, shared at pool party. Hazy medium gold, foamy white head. Belgian yeast and light bubblegum, pale malts, dry finish. Not my preferred interpretation of the style. reebtogi (6488) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 7, 2016
Release #26, 7.9%ABV. 650ml bottle pours a hazy golden color with a finger of white head that leaves very little lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits and grains with some hints of yeast. Taste is a light lemon tartness with a light fruity and malty sweetness and a spicy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with abundant carbonation. Overall, this is a very well crafted brew that suits the style well and is both balanced and flavorful. Recommended.
