UPDATED: OCT 23, 2011 Draft. Sweet aroma and finish, too sweet, too light and not enough barnyard to be a classic saison. fiulijn (20491) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 4, 2017

Cloudy blond color. Aroma of spices, vegetables, some coriander. Sourish flavor, spicy, loads of vegetables, some esters. Really not good.
Tap at Beermongers, PDX, 26/05/13.
Hazed pale yellow with a thin white head.
Nose is lemon, spice, herbs, grass, bitter orange.
Taste comprises gras, lemon rind, straw, herbal notes, farmyard, light sugar, tarte fruit, light funk.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp and refreshing in the finish.
Ticks all the boxes for a great saison. mcberko (17809) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 4, 2017
22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out saison yeast, some citrus notes and spiciness -- typical North American saison. Flavour is likewise a typical North American saison, followed by citrus and bready malt. Lots of cheap North American saison yeast. No good.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2017 Jan 2017: Hazy without much head. Quite yeasty on the nose, especially pedio and way too much yeast. This has a fair bit of dusty character, with a sweet and dusty character. No change in the rating.brokensail (16444) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 11, 2013
Spring 2014: Hazy blonde, not much head. Lots of phenolic yeast...common saison yeast.... Sweetish, but in the finish there’s a touch of acidity and pedio that doesn’t seem like it should be there. Ends up not that interesting save for the faults. 6-3-6-2-12 = 2.9
On tap @ Epic (Denver). Pours a pale straw pour with a white head. Tart lemon and citrus, banana, and grass on the nose. Pears, apples, and a touch of pepper. Maybe some coriander. Sweet malt as well. Flavors of banana, pear, and apple. Light citrus, a touch of lemon peel, and clove on the finish. Sweet malt and sugar notes all the way through. Not really a saison, but a decent Belgian-style beer. Ferris (15247) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 4, 2017

Bottle. Poured a clear orange color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus hop and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour citrus flavor with a medium sour & sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectation where met.
