On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome). Fusto invecchiato di qualche anno. Nera, densa, quasi impenetrabile, schiuma virtualmente assente. Al naso netta ossidazione, tostato quasi evanescente, oliva, anche una nota vinosa, comunque interessante. In bocca molto morbida, il tostato quasi non si percepisce pi, cioccolato pi che caff, spenta. Corpo leggero, watery, carbonazione soft.

Bottle from Brew Dog Shop, shared with Nick. Poured a deep dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma consisted of roasted malts, choc and a little smoke. Slipped down smoothly with similar characteristics to the nose and some emerging hop bitterness. Well above average stout that is very drinkable.

Opaque black beer, tidy pale tan head. Fresh palate, a little crispy. Nice dark malt - not bitter or roasty. Strong chocolate tone - cocoa and dark chocolate. Mild lactose. Mild orange hop in the finish.

Bottle from brewdog Manchester. Tasty, dark chocolate and coffee. Perhaps a bit too fizzy but very flavoursome for the percentage.
