Bottle: Pours a very lightly hazy yellow color with a big white head. The nose is lightly spicy with some yeast and grassy hop notes. The flavor is thin, moderate husk and wheat notes along with a subtle underlying of coriander and citrus rinds. Wheres the exponential? Finishes thin. A bit of a let down.

Sampled on 3/23/2011. This Witbier pours a light yellow gold color from a 22oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, spicy and yeasty. A light to medium bodied Witbier. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are herbal. Decent carbonation. Spicy, notes of coriander and orange peel, and some pepper. Very drinkable. Nice balance. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp, and a touch dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

bottle. hazy pale golden with one finger head. its a bit of a strange take on the wit style. the grains of paradise adds a unique spiciness that doesnt entirely fit what i want in a wit, but isnt bad either. plenty of coriander and orange peel as well.

22 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, release #10 bottled 5/31/2012. Pours lightly hazy golden straw color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big lemon zest, orange zest, orange rind, coriander, clove, pepper, wheat, ginger, earth, floral, and light herbal. Damn nice aromas with good balance, strength, and complexity. Taste of big lemon zest, orange peel, coriander, ginger, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, floral, earth, grass, and herbal. Lingering notes of citrus, coriander, clove, pepper, ginger, wheat, grass, and herbal on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic flavor balance and complexity; with a great malt/spice balance; zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a lightly creamy and very crisp and prickly mouthfeel that is very nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent witbier! Great flavor balance and complexity; very smooth a crisp to drink. Highly enjoyable offering; exceeded my expectations.

Rated on 10-18-2016. (Bottle, Release #22 and the label shows 5.1 ABV. ) The appearance is a small fizzy white head that has a short retention, medium yellow light hazy body, lively, very fizzy carbonation observed, and spotty lacing. The aroma presents citrus hops, wheat, yeast, coriander, orange, lemon, grainy, spicy, and light malt. The flavor is lightly bitter, wheat, coriander, spicy, orange, bready, sweet, and malt. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. A quaffable Witbier that is easy drinking. The taste is so-so for the style.
