22 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, release #10 bottled 5/31/2012. Pours lightly hazy golden straw color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of big lemon zest, orange zest, orange rind, coriander, clove, pepper, wheat, ginger, earth, floral, and light herbal. Damn nice aromas with good balance, strength, and complexity. Taste of big lemon zest, orange peel, coriander, ginger, clove, pepper, wheat, bread, floral, earth, grass, and herbal. Lingering notes of citrus, coriander, clove, pepper, ginger, wheat, grass, and herbal on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic flavor balance and complexity; with a great malt/spice balance; zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a lightly creamy and very crisp and prickly mouthfeel that is very nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent witbier! Great flavor balance and complexity; very smooth a crisp to drink. Highly enjoyable offering; exceeded my expectations. Bottle: Pours a very lightly hazy yellow color with a big white head. The nose is lightly spicy with some yeast and grassy hop notes. The flavor is thin, moderate husk and wheat notes along with a subtle underlying of coriander and citrus rinds. Where’s the exponential? Finishes thin. A bit of a let down. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - SEP 11, 2010

bottle. hazy pale golden with one finger head. it’s a bit of a strange take on the wit style. the grains of paradise adds a unique spiciness that doesn’t entirely fit what i want in a wit, but isn’t bad either. plenty of coriander and orange peel as well. hayduke (5204) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 27, 2013
