This was OK. Faint aroma of roasted malts. Nice reddish brown color with a white head. Palate was light as with most of their beers. Carbonation average. Flavors were blended well, just needed a little more power. Some malty sweetness with a little hops bitterness. OK, just not unique. Experiment_Ale (1098) - Dallas, Texas, USA - OCT 6, 2013
At equinox. Pours bronze. Nose is air, nutty malty hint of Carmel. Taste is Carmel, nutty pecan, light spicy hops. brokensail (16440) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 6, 2013
On tap @ Equinox. Amber/copper with a white head. Apple, grass, and paper. Watery aroma, some caramel, and floral hops. Flavor is water, apple, and caramel. A bit of toast, grass, and a papery finish. Kind of a bitter grain thing going on, too. gmellison (427) - Colorado, USA - OCT 5, 2013
On tap at equinox. Aroma is nutty and malty. Color is dark amber. Tastes ok, nothing stands out to me. Mediocre. cthomas2390 (228) - Colorado, USA - FEB 19, 2013
Clear red pour. Nice toasted malt notes present in the aroma and continue in the taste, though they dry out by the end of it. Ends with a hint of nuttyness.

Tap sample at Mayor of old town.
Clear mahogany color with red hues and minimal head.
Malt nose, some toffee and cherry notes.
Fruity flavors, with some beet, cherry life savers, lo-med bitterness.
Light-med body, sweet after taste. OK. durhambeer (2500) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - OCT 3, 2012
So this is typically always a boring style, but among the beers I sampled at Equinox, boring and safe seemed like a good choice. Very mild hops and sweet caramel malts. Some biscuit. Not bad. sonnycheeba (5973) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 9, 2012
Tap. Pours mostly clear brown with light ruby tint with average, creamy off-white head; decent retention and spare lacing. Aroma is bread and toasted malt, fig, dates, floral hops, and caramel. Flavor is sweet malt dominate with faint fruit esters and hops; semi-sweet finish. Light body, low carbonation, and low warmth. arminjewell (9585) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 22, 2012
Pour on tap at the brewery, clear red pour with thin off white head, aroma brought notes of slight metal, caramel, hints of grass and spice, toasted malts with a touch of earth. Taste was a mix of earthy and grass hops, touch of toasted bread, caramel, and metallic notes, finish fairly sweet. emmasdad (85) - , Colorado, USA - JUL 14, 2011
On a recent trip to Fort Collins with friends, we had the opportunity to try this one on tap at the brewery. Poured a reddish-copper color with a dirty white head. Aromas of toasted malt and caramel. On the palate, this one was medium bodied, with flavors of toasted malt, caramel and toffee.
