On a recent trip to Fort Collins with friends, we had the opportunity to try this one on tap at the brewery. Poured a reddish-copper color with a dirty white head. Aromas of toasted malt and caramel. Pour on tap at the brewery, clear red pour with thin off white head, aroma brought notes of slight metal, caramel, hints of grass and spice, toasted malts with a touch of earth. Fruity flavors, with some beet, cherry life savers, lo-med bitterness.

On tap at Equinox poured a clear reddish amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of carmel, fruittiness and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. On tap at the brewery. Clear amber appearance with an off-white head. Mild malty aroma with hints of nuts, caramel and toffee. Similar flavor, adding medium sweetness and a light earthy hop bitterness. Light to medium body. An easy drinker overall.
