courtesy of Adrian Daenzer - cloudy copper-blond beer with no foam left; aroma of warm cow piss, hints of vinegar; medium-bodied, salty and quite dry: corny - weird and hard to drink

330ml bottle. Gusher. Pours hazy orange, fizzy white head. Aroma is citrussy, flowery, malty, bit tart. Taste is citrussy, refreshing with sour toutch, mildly hoppy. Saltiness in finish. Medium bodied, overcarbonated. Taste is good, but massive overcarbonation ruins it for me, BB is next year.

Well it is certainly salty but not in a bad way. Sweet salt perhaps? Yes probably a golden ale underneath this flavour and in reality quite a modest beer. Still interesting enough the salt drives a fantastic plank of tangy fruit right through the palate.

Cerveza hecha con agua de mar, supongo que desalada por que es a lo que sabe, a agua destilada.

August 2017 - Keg at Curado Bar Cardiff as 'La Socarrada Er Boquerón', 4.8%, made with sea water apparently. Paired with K25 gin and tonic. Pours translucent pale orange, sparkling with a small off-white head. Aroma is cracker-like malts, black pepper, light berries, cranberries and juniper (or maybe that's the gin talking). Body is smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is weird in a good way – cracker-like malts, light salinity, salted citrus, little tangy berry tartness in the background. Pretty interesting and it works. Better than expected and would pair pretty well with food. (6-4-6-3-13=3.2)

Aroma: Citrus, herbs and floral notes. Appearance: Gold color with cloudy liquid and white head. Taste: Medium bitterness and light sour touch. Palate: Medium body with creamy texture and lively carbonation. Bitter citrus finish and salty touch. Overall: Sea features. Too much carbonation and it hides a bit some of the features. The salt is not evident.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange colour with a fluffy white head, the aroma is light hops, the taste is medium bitterness with a touch of salt coming through with a dry bitter finish.

AshtonMcCobb (6774) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 26, 2017
Bottle from Lupe Pinto. Appearance - golden amber with a nice lacy head. Nose - floral and salty. Taste - salt more obvious now. Meadowsweet flowers and custard. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture. The finish is decent with a salty edge. Overall - interesting enough if not world beating.

Hazy amber with a one finger head. Aroma: caramel, straw, yeast and fruit. Taste is slight sweet and salt with a medium bitter aftertaste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Inoven (808) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - JUL 7, 2017
Flesje gedeeld met TomHendriksen. Goudgeel bier met snotachtige sliertjes. Geur van rotte aardappelen. Smaak is zuur. Nasmaak is iets bitter.
