Laffes und eintöniges Weizen, geringe Hefigkeit, kaum andere Aromen. Kurzum: Unnötig. /8/5/6/7/6/6

Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma is weak, wheaty and yeasty. Flavor is medium sweet. Boring. Doesn’t really feel like a hefeweizen. 240409

Bottle at Erdinger Sportscafe, Munchen Flughafen T2, 26/01/14. Had to ask for a glass with this one, can see why now from the write up above! Lightly hazed orange golden with a good sized white head. Nose is light soap, floral strains, citrus, straw. Taste comprises light nana, yeast, bread dough, lemon, hint of spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, clean closure. So so, not much depth, not really true to the style.

Bottle at Erdinger Sportsbar, Munich Airport. Hazy golden/orange beer with a decent offwhite head. Bready aroma, dough, wheat, fruity notes, caramel and cream. Citrus flavor, caramel, wheat, floral notes, spicy, some cream. A bit thin bodied.

Bottle. Small head that fades qucikly. Hazy orange color. This reminds me more of champagne (which I dont really like) and not of beer. Way too high carbonation. Too acidic.

Hazy orange, good off-white head, livelycarbonation. Metallic cardboard and wheat aroma, not very strong. Quite carbonated mouthfeel. Crisp, almost witbier-like orangy flavor. Light to medium-bodied. Average refreshing weizen which lacks normal sweetish banana notes.

Hazy tan colour, with a weak head. Fine but plentiful carbonation. Clean aroma for a wheat - slightly wheaty, slightly malty. I’d call it American in style as there is no hint of phenol nor ester. Finish is mainly watery. Another half-assed weissbier from Erdinger. I’m so glad I was able to follow this up with my last bottle of Zentrumsbier Weizen, China’s best kept beer secret.

Bottled, twist-off cap. Hazy, yellow-orange beer with a white head and nice carbonation. Weak, malty and fruity aroma and flavor. Quite disappointing. Way to sugar-sweet. Sweet, lightly spiced finish. Medium body. (060508)

Hazy yellow with white head. Very pilsner like with a little wheat notes. Watery body with a easy sweet malty taste. Easy drinkable but rather disappointing coming from Erdinger!
