A wheat beer from the good old days.
Erdinger Weissbier ’dark’ is a rich and smooth wheat beer specialty from Erdinger Weissbräu. It owes its full-bodied flavor to the fine hops and dark malt used in its production.
The dark beer specialty is brewed according to an age-old recipe. Its spicy flavor also results from the increased proportion (about 13%) of original wort. Nonetheless, at 5.3%, it doesn’t contain much more alcohol than Erdinger Weissbier ’with fine yeast’.

From 50cc bottle. Pours chocolate brown, with abundant brownish foam at pouring. Aroma is caramel, roasted barley. Body is medium. Taste is sweet, but not too much. Finish is not that short, with some sweetness sticking around.

Dejlig mørk hvedeøl. Flot lysebrunt skum. Lidt sød karamel smag. En rigtig god øl, fra Erdinger

50 cl. bottle. Dark brown with beige head. Aroma is roasty bread, caramel, coffee, toffee, along with floral and spicy notes. Taste is not very rich. Quite sweet and malty with minimal bitterness and some sourness. It is medium bodied and creamy textured, but it still is quite watery probably because of the lack of taste. Lively carbonation and a short bittersweet and somewhat sour finish. Not special but not bad. Decent.

Mörkorange och lite grumlig med fin beige skumkrona. Doftar lite malt och frukt. Smaken hyggligt fyllig, lite söt. Eftersmaken ganska kort med någon bränd karamellsötma.
