A wheat beer from the good old days.
Erdinger Weissbier ’dark’ is a rich and smooth wheat beer specialty from Erdinger Weissbräu. It owes its full-bodied flavor to the fine hops and dark malt used in its production.
The dark beer specialty is brewed according to an age-old recipe. Its spicy flavor also results from the increased proportion (about 13%) of original wort. Nonetheless, at 5.3%, it doesn’t contain much more alcohol than Erdinger Weissbier ’with fine yeast’.

The aroma is rather weak and hard to pick up ingredients. Dark chestnut brown in color with an extremely frothy head. Not much flavor to it. It has an over carbonated taste to it.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2017 Cerveja alemã pouco densa e aromatizada, mas de sabor marcante e com notas de grãos torrados.

Roasty honey malt smell and a dark brown body. It has a lighter taste than expected, almost like a lager with some brown sugar in there to give it a tangy almost belgo taste. Easy drinking and chuggable. Good for a chill Thanksgiving of Clueless, train footage, and Fairway across the street.

Pours a large white head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of malts and cane honey. Taste of malts, alcohol and cane honey. Surprisingly light. I liked this one.

It's supposed to be one of the best, and I had it in Munich (airport)--it's indeed good, but still on the syrupy side, a bit light and a bit too hoppy at the same time, i wouldn't seek it out again (16.9 oz bottle, MUC)

Bevuta alla spina in bicchiere da 0,33. Birra discreta, dal sapore non elaborato ma godibile, ho gradito anche il livello di carbonatura non eccessivamente invadente.

Bottle from Billa. Pours dark chocolate with beige head. Aroma is yeasty and same it's with taste which is also lightly bitter. It's okay but no superstar.

Kolor ciemnego bursztynu. Piękna piana. Mętnie. W zapachu slodowo, kawa zbożowa, czekolada. W smaku jest słodko, zbożowo, pszenicznie, z nutami kawy zbożowej. Bardzo przyjemnie. Goryczki brak. Dobry ciemny pszeniczniak.

Ristet hvede, lidt banan i eftersmagen. Dog lidt vandet. Meget børkebrun, cloudy, Første ophældning var flot med tæt let tan hoved, men efterfølgende ophældning, var hovedet mindre. medium sweetness, med en smule glaseftersmag. medium body, slick feel, lively, abrupt finish,

Ar: Lean toasted malt; clove; very, very light banana with a bit of cinnamon. Ap: Very deep brown and hazy; medium-large, dense tan head, very good retention, settling into a firm cap. T: Lightly sweet banana and peach skins; brown sugar and toasted malt; bitterness is medium-low and lingering, with a very neutral hop flavor; white bread crust; some mineral and black pepper, into the finish; very astringent. P: Medium-light body with very high carbonation; sharp. O: Some good flavors here and looks nice in the glass, but the beer is just too edgy, thin, and harsh.
