COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lovers of strong beer need not worry that ERDINGER Weissbier Pikantus 'dark bock beer' is going to be too sweet, as is the case with so many bock beers. Despite the higher alcohol content, the Erding brew masters have succeeded in retaining the special Pikantus taste.

drmet (980) - GERMANY - AUG 14, 2017
L: -pours a cloudy mahogany with ruby tinges and a medium, foamy, beige head -medium to high carbonation visible S: -plums,figs,raisins,strawberries,syru the nose + spicy, nutty and fresh brown bread F: -medium carbonation -medium, soft body -slight alcohol noticeable O: Due to Erdinger’s neutral House yeast, this is much more similar to a Doppelbock than a Weizenbock. A damn good Beer though.

oobawa (1501) - Tennessee, USA - AUG 11, 2017
Nice weizenbock nose, rich and sweet, a mix of booze and fruit esters. Pours well, a slightly hazed dark brown with red edges, giving up a good dose of off-white foam and slight lacing. Taste starts with bruleed bananas followed by dark cherry and date notes, gaining a subtle bit of rum-laced red apples and a hit of pepper on the back end. Never grows cloy, yet the finish bulks up nicely as the pint warms, gaining cola and woodsy undertones. Good sparkly German texture. Not a classic, but a drinkable wheat bock.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2017 50cl bottle thanks to german santa ESSS17. Pours murky brown with off-light brown head. Easy to drink with notes of mead and even baking yeast. Was expecting heavier body but still pretty good.

Mycket gott!

Strong German beer of wheat, good for colder days. Full bodied, it’s a German classic.

jann3 (392) - Espoo, FINLAND - JUL 3, 2017
Pours very dark brown with a beige head which leaves some lacing. Aroma is sweetish with notes of ripe berries like raspberry and black currant. Taste is sweetish too with roasted malts, a hint of caramel and dark chocolate. Finishes with dryish touch of spices. Taste of alcohol is not too strong, despite the high ABV. Smooth and oily texture, medium to full body. Average carbonaton.

Piana wysoka drobnopechezykowa ale szybko znika. Barwa ciemno brazowa. Metne. W aromacie wyrazne nuty slodowe. Tak samo w smaku. Srednia goryczka . Piwo szalu nie ma.
