Bottle from Biernavigatie. Aroma is wheat, citrussy fruits, yeast, spicy notes, clove, bread. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Bit above average Hefeweizen, not as much banana as citrussy fruits, more bitter than the usual Hefe. Good one. klm1 (1538) - Bled/SF, - DEC 30, 2016
Bottle: pours deep golden (srm 10), haze, with unstable foamy off-white head!? Aroma: almost no banana like esters, almost no clove like phenols, some soapy undertones!?. Flavor is practically the same: weak banana like esters, some clove-like phenols, some spicy notes, typical for rye?, balanced with bread like components. Body is medium, texture soft, carbonation is medium to high.

Bottle, 0.5l. Pours hazy golden body with slight reddish hue. Huge and creamy white head. Lovely visible carbonation. Excellent head retention and nice lacing. Pleasantly sweet nose - herbal, wheat, yeast, a bit caramel.
Thin to medium body, softly carbonated. Watery texture, but smooth on the tongue. Mildly sweet taste, nicely balanced. Aroma of yeast, wheat, herbs, spices, caramel. Slightly sugary. Usual banana notes, but not so distinct. Lacks the fullness, feels a bit bland. Finish is dry and sweet.
Overall, quite pleasant. A bit different then your usual hefe. Nice one. nihtila (3640) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 25, 2016

Poured into a weizen glass, the appearance was a muddled burnt dark orange color with a two finger white foamy head that dissipated pretty quick. But there’s no lacing.
The aroma had some of the normal qualities of a hefeweizen (some clove, banana esters, sweet wheat) and then some red delicious apples.
The flavor brought the hefeweizen qualities inward sweetly and letting the clove slide further to the background. Some sharp phenols hit slyly. But normal hefeweizen aftertaste touching the finish crisply.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good, some prickliness.
Overall, "if it fits, it ships," thanks Erdinger for sending across the pond. I could drink this again. Christos (5787) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - DEC 20, 2016
