With a slightly darker color and slightly higher alcohol content than the classic ERDINGER Weissbier 'with fine yeast', the 'winter brew' offers a really pleasant change at the coldest time of the year, a time when we like to treat ourselves to something special. Available between November and February.

bottle @ Keg Liquors / Clarksville IN --- best before 08/2016 --- Aroma of malt and wheat. Nearly clear medium amber, big, frothy off-white head that never drops below two-fingers, globs of lace. Taste is crisp caramel malt that has yeast and light spice (no coriander) along for a nice ride. Medium carbonation on the swallow. This is one of those brews, that is nothing special, while, at the same time, really, really, enjoyable. Super easy to drink, light in the belly, satisfying. I’ll look for it this again in December.

0.5 l bottle shared with my father. Deep golden-amber color with white head. Not too strong aroma for a weizen and whats more surprising there’s some maltish scent in addition to the usual sweetish banana weizen aroma. The taste is the same. Expected more body and taste tho.

From 2d2despuma. In Bavaria glass. Playing South Park Stick of Truth. The typical banana-clove of a hefe are replaced here with some dusty yet pleasant dry spicyness. A bit more foamy than desiderable

Dark orange with big white head. Aroma is peaches, marzipan and a little caramel. Taste is sweet but also fresh. Medium body and not so smooth mouthfeel. Overall not bad.

Murky dark orange color with fluffy white head. Aroma is marzipan and malty, no bananas. Sweet fruits. Taste is sweetish-fruity (but in a weird way, yes, canned peaches cuts it). Sorta fresh as well. Smooth mouthfeel, rather low carbonation. Alright.
