With a slightly darker color and slightly higher alcohol content than the classic ERDINGER Weissbier 'with fine yeast', the 'winter brew' offers a really pleasant change at the coldest time of the year, a time when we like to treat ourselves to something special. Available between November and February.

Couleur jaune-orangée, bonne mousse. Nez leger fruité. Gout malté, fruité pomme-banane, très légèrement levuré. Un corps bien onctueux avec fin de bouche épicée-fruitée. Pas mal et pas trop commune.

Weiss beer produce by the firm only in winter. It’s more dark respect to the tipical Weiss beer

malrubius (3086) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - DEC 29, 2015
Bottle. Cloudy light orange yellow with lasting head and lace. Very light aroma of cloves. Sweet and light fruity sweetness with minerally bitterness that overbalances lack of flavor. Light body. Creamy. Not sure why Erdinger insists on making the most flavorless wheat hefes.

Marcius (466) - Geneva, SWITZERLAND - DEC 26, 2015
Golden color, cloudy liquid and big head. Light aroma of yeast and banana. Taste is also light and refreshing. I thought it was stronger

pityu (681) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 18, 2015
Bottle - Hazy orange colour, medium frothy white head, good retention. Malt an orange peel nose with some caramel and yeast. Taste is bread-like with some orange, banana and subtle flowery hops. Medium body, average carbonation, a bit watery finish. Not bad.

ciocanelu (3112) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - DEC 15, 2015
Hazy orange color with white, frothy head. Aroma has malt, overripe orange and a bit of alcohol. Taste isn’t very intense, just some wheat and yeast notes. Body is medium and highly effervescent. Not bad but not my favorite approach on the style.

puboflyons (3530) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 12, 2015
From the 25 fl. oz bottle with an expiration date of 08-2016. Yellow, heady pour. The aroma has a mellow but interesting German toasted malt character with grassy hops. The body is light and refreshing. The taste is also mildly sweet and toasted with a clean grassy hop finish. I am not sure how different this is from their regular beer but I enjoyed it for what it was.

djoeye (5411) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 9, 2015
Look; off white skyscraper on golden hazy body. Beautiful label. Aroma; light wheat malts, hay, meadow, snow. Taste; sweet light malts, dough, white bread, white cheese - leading to a bun finish. Normal on palate. Overall; not that much to give. [50cl br btl abv5.6% BB.08-2016 #L051108]

Fisler (787) - Bamberg, GERMANY - DEC 7, 2015
Schöne Perligkeit im Glas. In der Nase malzig, etwas muffig. Im Trunk leichte Süße, dann malzig, leicht bitter, langer kerniger Abgang. Passt.

allmyvinyl (11182) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - DEC 4, 2015
500ml bottle from Cork & Cask. Pours hazy amber with a thick white head. Aromas of spice, cream, banana. Taste is light spice, banana bread, toffee. Sweet spicy linger on the finish.
