Pours cloudy yellow, with a frozy head. Aroma of wheat. Flavor of lemon and grassy hops. Palate is light and fizzy from the carbonation. Enjoyable beer, always very drinkable.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2017 Loads of body and a very tasty banana finish. The best I have had so far

Mild biscuits aroma with notes of banana shake. Sweet, but not really overwhelming. Cloudy golden in the glass with frothy head. Taste is semi sweet with notes of banana cake, biscuits, cookies – that kind of stuff. All is well balanced and not very aggressive, but I felt lack of wheaty background which is very important. OK, but kind a weird.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2017 Poured from bottle. Malty and banana bread aromas. Cloudy golden colour. Slightly spiced with banana flavour. Short lived head. Bubbly mouth-feel. Kick back and relax with this great intro to wheat beer.

Pours hazy, golden colour with a tight head. Aroma of malts, bananas. Rather sweet. Taste is dry, banana notes, malty, grainy. Light bitterness. Drinkable and fine.

(500 ml bottle) Pours a murky golden beer, with vigorous medium carbonation, and a tight white head. The aroma is disappointingly weak for a Hefeweizen. There are subtle notes of fresh malt, wheat, banana, clove, lemon, mineral water, kiwi, sulphur, and cereal. It tastes fairly sweet, with a noble hop bitterness, and the palate is light and effervescent. Overall, this Hefeweizen falls flat when compared to the likes of Franziskaner, or Weihenstephaner. The aroma is underwhelming, the palate is mediocre, and the note of sulphur just shouldn’t be there. From experience, however, Erdinger is much better served from the keg.

Pale and hazy golden/ orange color with a fluffy head of white foam. Copious amounts of cereal and an undercurrent of sweet orange juice. Has a bit of a sick vegetable finish that takes the experience down a few notches.

Ar: Banana, chalk, a hint of juicy fruit; cotton candy and peach skin; clove and black pepper, though quite soft; smooth, light maltiness. Ap: Golden and lightly hazy; very large white head with phenomenal retention, leaving a large airy cap of foam. T: Banana and black pepper up front; peach skin and soft malt, very light sweetness; soft, fresh maltiness; very low bitterness, no hop flavor; light malt, black pepper, and ripe peach on the finish. P: Medium-light body with high carbonation; very soft and pillowy on the palate; finish is dry. O: A spectacular German hefeweizen; hallmark flavors of banana, clove, peach, and fresh malt; great mouthfeel and looks superb in the glass!

Heerlijk weizen bier. Regelmatig gedronken op terras in Griekenland na een lange wandeling. Prachtig vol wit schuim, rijk van smaak.
