Bottle. Luxa Kebap, down the road from Mikkeller, Berlin. Drank from the bottle, while downing a delicious schawarma kebab of chicken and falafel. All walks of life in here, makes for a taste intensifying experience. Doesn’t really matter about the beer, does it? It’s not like it’s too complex or anything. You get the gist, if you get the gist.

500ml bottle into weizen glass. 40ºC here in Sydney today so a crisp, refreshing beer is needed. Clear pale amber beer with the usual towering white head. Tiny bubbles lazily make their way up the glass. Patchy lacing. Nose is sweet malt with a little grain present. Full-bodied with an über-smooth texture. Finish is sweet with touches of vanilla, banana, and pepper.. Delicious and easy-drinking with none of the sourness you sometimes get with wheat beers.

Poured into weizen. Aggressive pour yields terrible results. Insanely huge head, took FOREVER to pour!! But now that I have. It is very very clear. Well carbonated. Two fingers white frothy head that’s not hanging with me. Good lacing.

Aroma is very light. Malty. Very light banana. Light spice, could be clove or it could be coriander. Light honey. Light bread, light yeast. I think the yeast is the strongest aroma in here. It could pass for some sort of light beer.

Taste is very light. Leans sweet, very little if any hops. Lightly bread crusty.

Mouthfeel is light bodied. Very wet. Very refreshing. Very smooth and easy drinking.

Overall this is okay. Not memorable really in any way except that I’ve found the perfect lawn mower beer. Seriously though, it’s okay. I’d drink it and recommend it, but I’m not likely to buy it again.

Bottle from Sarkynorthener a style tick cheers Martin; clear yellow pour with a big bubbly white head, aroma has light malts, taste has crisp marks a hint of citrus, some light banana, light cloves.

It pours clear golden with a thick, foamy white head. The nose is mellow, soft, sweet, banana, flour, white bread, straw and cereal. The taste is crisp, clean, mellow banana, light creaminess, sweet white bread, cereal, white pepper, straw and a touch of soapy citrus with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy carbonation. Crisp, sweet and clean.

kraddel (9331) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - NOV 28, 2017
Pours very clear blonde, huge white, creamy and stable white head. Smell is very weak, bit of esthers. taste is full, sharp, bit bitter, some wheat. Mildly phenolic, some esthers. OK

Thanks to Kraddel / Beerlover_Ben. Sampled draft. Totally clear obviously. Nose is sweet plaster, caramel, empty chemical apple. Taste is bland apple, chemical, sugar, sugar,… Thicker body but massively bland. About as unexciting as expected.

Quite corny aroma, lager-like, yellow/golden appearance. Nice carbonation with sweet malty characteristics.

BrewWhatIWant (323) - Ontario, CANADA - NOV 10, 2017
Pours clear gold with a fluffy white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is malty. Taste is sweet and a little sour. There are notes of biscuit malt, a little citrus and herbal hops. Medium bodied with lots of carbonation. It’s seems like a pretty typical German lager.

YantarCoast (1622) - Moscow, RUSSIA - OCT 11, 2017
500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear gold with a massive white head. No aroma. Taste is alcohol, light sourness, like a very badly made lager. Infected... such as shame as I love this style. Must try again.
