Draft at Craft. Pours deep coppery with slight pink tinge and 1-finger head that forms great lace. Nose is freshly picked black cherry, not artificial at all, with a solid malt bill. Tastes malty, with the black cherry in the background, on the sweet side. This is a solid fruit beer. blipp (9790) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 5, 2009
Bottle. Pours orangey pink with a white head. Fruity sweet aroma, cherry dominates, with a wheaty hint. The flavor is sweet but not cloying. Decent. Ibrew2or3 (8860) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - DEC 11, 2009
12oz bottle pours copper with gold hues and short lived white head. The aroma is very mild with faint berry and malt sweetness. The taste presents sweet malts and sweet dark cherries rounded out initially by a dash of carbonation enhanced tannins. By midway the malts and berryness come to a peak and mingling in modest somewhat restrained harmony. Nice. It gets a tad too sweet into the finish. This beer has limited depth, decent enough flavor and should prove particularly tasty on a hot day. PhillyBeer2112 (2903) - Oviedo, Florida, USA - OCT 25, 2010
Glad others are mentioning the carbonation and gushing cuz I was afraid! It did mildly gush when I popped it, but I was able to get it poured, albeit slowly. Big foaming head, golden color. Musty nose with hints of cherry and earth, otherwise restrained. Tart cherries show up at the front in the flavor leading into a grainy middle and a mildly bitter finish, which is dry and almost flavorless. Fizzy mouthfeel. beergodd1 (401) - Conneaut, Ohio, USA - JUN 22, 2011
I remember liking this better at the Beer on the Bay Beer fest in Erie PA last year (July 2010). It poured a Nice ruby and copper colored body with a super thick, frothy white head and bubbles floating from the bottom are visible. Aroma of cherries, malt, fruit, and maybe Wheat? Tastes just like it smells. Almost like a wine cooler, but I guess better. They go down quick, watch out for the 5%. I guess a good Summer beer. But a little too sweet.

Nice apparent aroma of black cherry, quite noticeable. some yeastiness to the aroma as well. Overly sweet, quite artificial tasting cherry. CD says real cherries are used but I don’t buy it. Very light and easy to drink, but highly imbalanced and fruity with very little of anything else. It’s ok at best. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 25, 2011
Bottle:   Translucent pink, very pale and clear, large fluffy white head, nice lacing, mild carbonation. redpooba (411) - Texas, USA - JAN 11, 2013
Either filtered or not made with real cherries.   Biscuity cherry flavored nose, graham cracker of the
cherry variety.   Pectin as well.   Yeah, smells like freezer jam.   Almost has a cherry, strawberry, and
raspberry grab-bag of flavors.   Certainly artificial, but not terribly bad.   Reminds me of cereal sweetened
with jam.   This is like a golden or blonde sweetened with jam.   Yeah, hot steam coming from the jam on the
stove, coupled with that pectin stuff.   Totally.   Makes me thinking I am drinking the runnings off my
mothers freezer jam.   Brings back memories, but for a beer... meh, tiz okay.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.
Probably would go great with a salad.   Decent light fruit beer that isn’t too artificial.
Golden yellow with a white head. Aromas of black cherries which are crisp on the nose and sharp bubbly. Coats the mouth with the right level of tartness. burg326 (5619) - Florida, USA - APR 29, 2013
12 ounce bottle, poured a light amberish red color with aromas of light tart cherries, candy, and some sugar. Flavors are artificial tart cherries, light grain, and some hard candies, meh.... queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - JUN 28, 2013
