12oz bottle - shit, I thought this was the Raibender Scotch Ale. It’s a good thing I like fruit beer. pours pale gold with white head. Nose is bad fruity yogurt. very fizzy and here’s the cherry flavor. A little smoky. "I spend my days and nights deranged!!!" mildly sweet and a tad tart. bb (9790) - Alamo, California, USA - AUG 25, 2015
Bottle. Amber beer with a whitish head. Cherry and light malt aroma. Big cherry and light malt flavor. Medium bodied. Cherry and light malts linger. FROTHINGSLOSH (8291) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 12, 2009
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a faint salmon color with a large light pink-white head. The aroma was faint cherry and berry. The flavor was tart, tangy and somewhat sweet with light notes of cherry and a yeasty and musty undertone. The finish was medium length black cherry. Subtle but enjoyable. williamherbert (1544) - Syracuse, New York, USA - JUL 29, 2009
Clear triaminic orange color; thick merange head. Weak body, but a big head; spotty lace, small bubbles. Sour black cherry aroma, dark with a witbierish wheat backbone. Sweet/sour black cherry flavor. Hits all sections of the tongue. Peppery on the back end with some white wine. Decent buttery smooth feel. It’s a silky, pleasant summer brew. Dorwart (2616) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - DEC 9, 2010
Kind of grayish white head of fine bubbles that recede rather quickly. A decent black cherry aroma with some grape juice and some light malts. Color is a brown with a slight reddish hue. Decent carbonation. Kind of sickly sweet aroma with some more black cherry, grape and grainy malts. Maybe some creamed corn in there also. I ambig fan of black cherry but this just seems a bit synthetic to me.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a small lingering white head. Aromas of yeast, biscuit and light black cherry. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of black cherry, straw and light yeast with a crisp black cherry finish. chinchill (5395) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 19, 2013
Poured from an undated 12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Appearance: slightly hazy pale copper with a faint reddish tint. The small white head dissipates rather rapidly leaving just a ring and decent lacing.
Smell: light, sweet malt aroma with a subtle cherry character that seems more natural than artificial.
Taste: light malt flavor with a fair bit of sweetness. The cherry is less subtle, and more tart (thankfully) than anticipated from the nose.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body; medium carbonation; smooth
Overall: a decent cherry ale; just don’t expect a lambic or kriek.

Bottle. Pinkish gold color. Some head, no lace. Aroma is strong cherry but not over powering. Some cherry taste but not overly sweet. Nice beer. Aurelius (5659) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 27, 2013
Doughy, straw lager aroma with slight sourness. Meh label, standard 12 oz longneck; slightly rusty gold beer, clear; lacing white head. Sweet, tangy, a little under-carbonated, a lot under-bittered. The black cherries are subtle - this doesn’t taste like a kriek or anything that aggressive in its fruitiness. A bit chewy, a little cherry slurpee in the frontend of the finish. Drinkable, not great. ABC, Bull Run. xxxspidermetal (2) - Salem, Ohio, USA - JUN 18, 2013 does not count
Pours a pinkish amber. Lacing had to be coaxed a bit. Sour cherry taste over an ale. Finish is a bit uneven. Decent drinking but unsure of what to serve with it.
