@ Party Town / Florence KY - Hazy medium amber, white head cover, streaks of lace. Aroma is interesting - malt with a bit of maple. Taste is routine malt that moves effortlessly (without complexity) through the palate before adding a bit of cherry in the finish. Drawback: tart cherry lingers till the very end, masking any other flavor. Reasonable, not great. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2015
Light amber pour with barely there head. The black cherry is more pronounced in the flavor than the aroma. Sweet malts along with the pleasant tartness of the cherry goes well together. Not at all cloying and much better balanced than other fruit flavored beers of the same ilk. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 30, 2009
Draught: Aroma of cherry and black cherry. Poured rose/pink in color with a small, loose, white/pink head that lasted throughout. Excellent lacing. Lightly sweet flavor. Tastes of cherry, black cherry, malts, and slight caramel. Medium body. Dry, thin texture. Average carbonation. Black cherry and malt finish is sweet and dry. jcwattsrugger (12518) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUL 22, 2009
on tap-pours a white head and pink-amber color. Aroma is cherry, grain. Taste is sweet malty/grain, cherry, musty, slight hops. OK carbonation. Silphium (3199) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - JUL 23, 2009
Bottle. Translucent straw body, thin tight off-white head. Nose of cherry syrup and grassy hops, light. Light body with good mouthfeel, with grassy hops, biscuity, nutty malts, and cherries. Quite easy to drink.

Amber cloudy pour thin white head decent lacing ...faint aroma of sweet malts and a nice blackcherry ...... creamy taste of mellow and fruity black cherry not overbearing just sour and tart enough with some sweet malt detected .... a nice tart blackcherry finish .... well done can definitely drink a few of these jgb9348 (6438) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - SEP 7, 2010
Heavy carbonation - explodes as soon as opened - be careful! Nice ruby and pink tinted copper coloured body with a super thick, frothy white head and a trillion bubbles floating from the bottom are visible. Aroma of cherries, malt, cardboard, fruit, wheat and a touch of icing sugar. Medium-bodied; Super effervescent with a large amount of cherries and fruity flavours at first then fading to a sweet finish with a dose of wheat and coriander seed noticeable. Aftertaste is pleasant and relatively clean - only some minor flavours hit the end, some light sweetness and a touch of cherries. Overall, an okay beer - not horrible, but a very carbonated and decently balanced beer - not too sweet, but not showing too much character. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liquor Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 11-July-2010, sampled at home in Washington on 07-September-2010. Last beer of the night at Brian’s 30th birthday shindig. Copper colored pour with a reddish tint. Big cherry smell up front with a little caramel and some grain. Flavor is cherry with light bits of caramel and grain as well. I may not be the best judge of this beer, as outside of pie and cherries themselves, I don’t care for anything with cherry flavor. This tasted more like a soda than a beer to me though. bhensonb (15624) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 13, 2011
Bottle from Half Time. Pours amber with a fizzy off-white head. Aroma is sort of cooked. Malt? Fruit? Both? Med minus body. Flavor comes over to me as more chocolate than cherry at first, later it does go mild light cherry. The flavor just lacks intensity. Not a sicky sweet fruit beer, but not a flavorful one either. Sort of bland ale. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 19, 2011
Pours a clear honey color with a medium white head. Aroma has some light maltiness...bready...and subtle cherry notes. Flavor showcases the cherry and has some caramely malt backing to it...certainly not tart, vinous or sweet...id rather one or more of these qualities were present to make it less boring. Light silky mouthfeel and a brief mild cherry finish.
