Bottled (thanks omhper). Deep reddish amber colour with small off-white head. Aroma is parfume, citrusfruits, some caramel malts and a bit wooden. Flavour is caramel malts, citrusfruits, mild fudge and some hints of mild herbs. As it warms up some really mild roasted notes show up. Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - MAR 20, 2008
Bottle. Dark clear amber colour with a nice head. Aroma of parfume, malt and sweetness. Flavour of parfume, sweet malty and caramel. Ends up sweet little spicy and smooth. Ungstrup (37862) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 19, 2008
Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of star anise. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and star anise, leading to a dry bitter and spicy finish. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 2, 2008
Orange-golden with a nice, creamy head. The aroma is fruity in a slightly perfumed way, but I also get notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavour is quite smooth with pleasant notes of roasted malt and caramel, and I also find the slightly perfumed and spicy flavour of fruits here. The finish is slightly dry and bitter. (Bottle) Pours very dark brown. The aroma is sweet fruity and caramelly with some mild burned notes. Black cherries, plums, raisins and some subtle spices are all present. Also some dark syrup. The flavour is fruity and mild roasted with tones of dark fruits and just a touch of coffee. Medium bodied. Wow, this is a really nice macro.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of joergen. Clear, orangey brown with an off-white head. Sweetish, perfumy nose. Medium body, lightly sweet caramel and very perfumy accents. Dry and bitter finish. Quite odd really. 110108 joergen (28377) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 13, 2008
Clear orange red coloured with an off white head.
Flowery aroma of malts and caramel with fruity notes.
Perfumed flavour of malts, caramel, fruits, liquorice and hops.
Hoppy finish. Grovlam (4252) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 13, 2008
Bottle. [Great two day tasting session @ Papsoe] Small fizzy off-white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat looking body with a mahogany color. Spare lacework. Aroma of perfume, spice, fruit, caramel. Over the palate some floral like bitterness. Light bodied with a soft carbonation and light dry texture. Light bitter flavor with a hint of sweetness. Light bitter floral and perfume bitter finish. yespr (45709) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JAN 12, 2008
50 cL bottle. Pours golden, clear and deep amber with a dense light brown head. Mild spice and light malty aroma. Flavour is light orange flavoured into a slight orange peel and mild spice note. Finish is soft malty and with a lingering spice note. Gr0ve (2176) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 26, 2007
500 ml bottle. Dark brown with a reddish hue. Tall off-white fluffy coarse head. Grainy malt aroma with a hint of roasted malts. Grassy hops. High bitterness upfront. Light bodied, but there is quite a bit of hops and a chocolatey maltiness. Distinct lager character. The hops are one-dimensional and does not really fit with the malts. After a while it all mellows out. Overall this is a really nice Christmas beer from a macro brewery.
