500ml bottle via djoeye. Shared with Skinnyviking and Finn Arvid. Fawn-coloured head, fair lacing. Deep dark brown coloured body. Aroma of sweet dark malts. Moderate malt-fruity taste, caramel and dried fruits. Slightly roasted ending. Standard Scandinavian Yuletide beer. Sweet and unvaried, but alright (at Finn Arvids place in Tromsø 17.01.2015).

Maria (10213) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 2, 2008
Orange-golden with a nice, creamy head. The aroma is fruity in a slightly perfumed way, but I also get notes of roasted malt and caramel. The flavour is quite smooth with pleasant notes of roasted malt and caramel, and I also find the slightly perfumed and spicy flavour of fruits here. The finish is slightly dry and bitter.

50 cl bottle, from Systembolaget)
Clear dark red almost deep ruby color, creamy head, a bit too small though. Fruity, malty and toffee scent. Metallic, buttery, grainy and malty taste. Medium to spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterenss. Actually really nice considering it’s from a Swedish macro brewery. Something I can imagine buying again.

50 cl bottle at Haket, Göteborg. On November 30, 2013.
BB 09 June 2014.
Clear dark brown color, small tan head. Sweet, grainy scent. Sweet, malty taste, sugary aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, rather low bitterness.
Didn’t really live up to my 2007 rating at all.

First rating: Biggish brown-beige head doesn’t last. Barely translucent dark red body with carbonation. Faint papery syrupy aroma. Dry-sweet delicate raisiny roasty dried fruit taste with caramel malts and mint notes. Harmonic and balanced. Fullish body. Soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dry roasty peppery cinnamon aftertaste with dusty malts notes. Very nice, and highly drinkable. (0.5l bottle, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.) 5,4,7,4,13=3.3

Clear deep nutty color with a fine tan head. Ok lacing. A bit sweet malty, nutty and a bit fruity aroma. Medium body. A bit sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation. Sweet caramel malty, toffee, nutty and mild fruity. Not my cup of ale.
