djoeye (4130) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 21, 2014
Beige foamy head, dark brown body, about dunkeltmawy. Varied lacing and crochets. Aroma; dark caramel malts, dusty hops, notes of fruits and leather, hints of spices. Taste; dark caramel malts, fruity grassy hops, chocolate, coffee notes, spices. Average on palate, easy, sometimes fizzy. Mild finish, with notes of milky chocolate. Overall alright, but the spices were faint and not-xmas-y. [50cl brown bottle, abv5.6%, [email protected] Kiruna, 1€80c, BB28APR15, [email protected]öme]

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2008 Bottled. Pours out in a clear reddish amber colour with a low beige foam. Toasted malts, almond, mild licorice and ryebread in the aroma. Toasted malts, caramel and nuts in the clean flavour with a mild bitterness and roastiness in the finish. Quite decent, considering it’s brewed by Carlsberg Sverige.

(Bottle) Pours very dark brown. The aroma is sweet fruity and caramelly with some mild burned notes. Black cherries, plums, raisins and some subtle spices are all present. Also some dark syrup. The flavour is fruity and mild roasted with tones of dark fruits and just a touch of coffee. Medium bodied. Wow, this is a really nice macro.
