bottle from biershop-braugasthoefe.de. Hazy straw golden colour, large white head. Grainy, malty nose. Light-to medium-bodied, solid malty base with a grainy character, shy hints of honey. There is a bit of a harsh bitterness tuning in, making the beer rather interesting. Grainy-malty-bitter-sweet character, hard to describe, quite spicy. Lively carbonation. A good one. kappldav123 (6100) - GERMANY - APR 16, 2011
Bottle, bought at the brewery. Looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass very zippy, not very turbid, huge head. Starts mild, hoppy-yeasty, a bit moldy. More and more spicy notes, also a bit wheaty. Sweet background. Well balanced finish, quite drinkable. Not bad! yespr (45508) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 19, 2011

Bottle. Thanks to Fonefan. Pours cloudy golden with a creamy egg white head. Lots of grass and grain. Lots of sulphur. Dry and bitter. A bit rough around the edges. Medium bodied. Clearly gets better after 2nd poor when the yeast enters and settles. Grainy and grassy. Fine bitterness. Crisp malty. Good.
