(bottle) Clear, dark amber to brown colour with a short and off-white foamy head. Dark malty, slightly toasted aroma with notes of caramel, leaves and nutty accents. Mildly sweet and delicately bitter flavour, rather light bodied regarding its abv with a calm carbonation. A tad slim dark malt character with nutty and diluted molassy notes, caramel, as well as shades of spicy and delicately woody hoppy accents far in the background; quite dry sweet-bitter and slim toast-malty finish. Okay, just a tad too slim. 29.XII.16

Bottle at Deanso’s last THT. Clear dark golden with white head. Wet cardboard, dry cardboard, old wood, puke, light bread and spices. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with watery finish. Really don’t like this at all.

0,5 l bottle, again from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! A clear bright dark copper with a nearly two finger fothy head in the glass. Looking really good. Taste is malty grainy, little bit roasty elements. More than average carbonation. Okay.

biir (1090) - Berlin, - NOV 15, 2015
Durchsichtig braune Farbe, zu Beginn leichte metallische Aromen, die sich aber verflüchtigen (Temperatur?). Malzig ohne zu süß zu sein, Aromen von Kräutern, Holz und Toffee. Süffig, gut.

Good looking tradiotional front with a nutcracker and gingerbread man. The beer is dark amber with a medium head. It smells nice like peach, nuts and toffee. The taste is malty, sweet and slightly hoppy. Refreshing, medium body. Good balanced sweetness, fruitiness and bitterness. The finish is a bit bitter and nutty with a hint of chocolate. Very tasty.

500 ml bottle. BB 24/03/14. From kevnic2008. Thanks a lot Mariusz!
Clear deep amber golden colour with a small off-white head. Mild aroma of dry wood, nutty sweetness and some malty sweetness. There’s quite a lot sweetness but also woody dryness in the nutty and malty flavour. Quite nice. It’s not exactly Weihnachtsfest time but it doesn’t matter... this works well.
