On tap at Eschenbräu. Fantastic Pilsener. Bright, slightly creamy body, but crisp hops and a smooth finish. Incredibly refreshing. Excellent.

Draft at the source. Clear bright golden color, fluffy white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of lightly floral citrus. Taste is crisp lemony straw. Delicious. lusikka (7819) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 15, 2013
Draught @ the brewpub, Berlin. Pours a beautiful golden colour with a large foamy white head. Aroma of grainy malts, lemongrass and strong hay. Flavour is very smooth with grainy malts, faint caramel, strong grassy bitterness and mild retronasal graininess. Medium bodied, very smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Lovely lingering grainy and bitter finish. Drinkability is so good that it’s hard to describe, so I had to take another pint. Overall a very tasty, clean and rich pils. Probably the best pils I’ve had so far. Great stuff. bartlebier (4108) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - DEC 30, 2015

XII15. Finally, a real unfiltered Pils cloudy like organic apple juice on Berlin soil, it is possible, if you venture out to Wedding (The Brewbaker Bellevue is rather cleaned up). Great fresh herbaceous and chlorophyl nose, announcing its intentions very clearly, on top of those fresh, doughy Gasthausbrauerei Keller yeast proteins. Great grassy DE noble hops in taste, melissa, nettle, minty touches meet great cloudy body, a touch yeast-slick maybe. If not for the journey back my Siphon/growler choice would have been made.
Draught @ Brewpub Pours hazy yellow with a smooth head. Aroma is hoppy grassy, malty and citrusy. Taste is sweetish, malty and grassy with lots of hops and hints of buttery notes. Finish is bitter, grainy and malty with hints of grass and citrus. Nice, clean and hoppy pils. JohnS1704 (12) - SCOTLAND - APR 3, 2014
In a city that is noticeably bereft of decent bier, Eschenbrau is a welcome oasis from the drab, predictable offerings of Berliner Kindl and the likes. This Pils is only example of a good unfiltered pils I have tasted outside of Prague and Munich. Just a damned good, crisp, refreshing glassful that has been consistently high over the last seven consecutive years I have visited Berlin.

Draught (30 cl) at the brewpub. Hazy golden, medium white head. Fresh grainy malt aroma with mild herbal hops. Light in body, lively carbonation. Dry with a long bitter finish. DSG (15119) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAY 17, 2014
[5/5/14] Draught at the brewpub in Berlin. Hazy yellow. Aroma of bready malt, yeast, a bit of hay and nice citric and grassy hops. Flavor has mild bready maltiness, some lager yeast and nice bright citric and grassy hops with crisp bitterness. A really good and quaffable Pils.
