ALLOVATE (3092) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - NOV 12, 2017
Produces up a brilliant and radiant, deep, ruby hued copper with so much carbonation keeping a huge pillow of tight, off-white foam aloft for the length. The lace is impressive. Nose of fresh baked Pfeffernüssen and rock cakes, banana cake and roasted mixed nuts such as almond, walnut and peanut. Dry, malty and dusty palate. Quite full in feel and oddly creamy given the appearance of an over-carbonated monster. Biscuity with light rusty tannins showing in the swallow. Clove-like phenols are low with a mostly mace-like spice coming through. It is not a flavour bomb but it does have well rounded baked goodies triggering and residing on the tongue long into the swallow. It is nice, but nice doesn't make extraordinary for a Dunkel Weiss. Sessionable, with your brain turned off. (50cL, BB 08/05/18, Cellarbrations Lynwood)

Clear dark brown beer with nice frothy beige head. Aroma is citrus, yeast and banana, bread. Taste is light sweet malty and banana with some bitterness notes. Medium body. Quite nice refreshing and enjoyable beer.

0,5 l bottle. Dark brown in the glass, big beige head. Yeast, wheat banana and clove with citrus on the nose. Taste is more dry wheat, some yeats, some dry fruity banana and close. Malty with fruit in the background. Okay.

*Old rating, best before 02.03.06. Malzig-schokoladiges Weizen. Schön weich, frisch, nette Gewürznoten, milde gelbe Früchte, lecker!

PsychoGunnar (201) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 11, 2014
Dark brown, opaque weizen smelling of hay, soy and maybe some mushrooms. Tastes like dark bread, malty sweetness and rock candy, but with little character compared to other dark weizens. Within standards, but not by a great deal.

Ripe banana, clove, and caramel malt aroma. Cloudy dark brown color with moderate head.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2011 17/11/2011 50cl bottle @ home - BB: 28/2/12 (2011-646) Thanks to Vince for the bottle!

Pretty cloudy dark muddy brown beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: banana, caramel, splash of citrus, more ripe banana on warming up. MF: low carbon, full body, creamy texture. Taste: bit sour start, lots of banana, some nuts, bit sweet, more banana. Aftertaste: slightly metallic, and you’ll never guess: banana. Slight hop bitterness too.

Gutes Bier! Test vom 29.12.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 13,12,11,12,15,11 - 11,70
