An homage to our friend and one of the greatest plays of Super Bowl XVII, this brew is a collaboration with NFL Hall of Famer John Riggins. The 4th & 1 is a classic Pilsner crafted with greatness in mind - true to style using only traditional ingredients. Light bodied with subtle notes of nobel hops make for a game-winning pilsner.

Tall boy can at FedEx Field the Pilsener poured a clear amber color with a white head and lacing. Nice bready aroma with some floral hops. The pils had a medium body with average carbonation. This is one of the better pilsener I have had, very balanced. The finish was clean with no lingering bitterness.
