This is a lighter drinking ale, despite its color. The roasted malts that is made with are responsible for the sweet, "nutty" flavor and darker color.

Tap @ Eskes. Titled "Brown Ale" on menu. Pours a clear, dark rust orange appearance with a light head. A nutty, caramel malty, earthy aroma. A bit watery, slight dark fruity, caramel, toasty malty flavor. Bleh.
