Clear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Porterhouse, Stockholm. Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sour dark fruits, malts, some hops as well as some quite acidic notes. Flavour is quite much the same, with also some toasted notes as well. Had some slight infection, the keg was changed, the following had the same kind of sourness, but not as strong.
Draught at Monk’s Porterhouse, Stockholm. Clear ruby, creamy head. Mildly roasty with sweet creamy malt. Slightly nutty with notes of raisins. Fairly light bodied with soft mouthfeel. Low bitterness. A pleasant edgeless dunkel.

Clear dark red to brown color, medium tan head. Malty, roasted, mineral, hints of red berries scent. Roasted, malty, cream, mineral, coffee taste. Coffee and roasted aftertaste. Moussy mouthfeel. Pretty low bitterness at first, finishes medium to the dry side with a tingling mieral feeling.

Malty, slightly roasted taste with dried fruit, raisins, dark bread, a touch of citrus and a mild, spicy bitterness in the finish. Solid malt character giving more than medium body. Bottle. Dark brown colour with a large head that leaves a heavy lacing. Aroma of coffee grounds, metallic. Flavour is a lot nicer than the aroma. Roasted malts, coffee. Thick bodied. A surprisingly good beer. Seems like Rune knows his stuff.
