COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

On tap. Aroma tangy, peat, lots of smoke and a bit of tar. Taste: dark malt, some smoke. A bit acidic, in a good way. Was perfect together with peanuts.

500 ml bottle bought through Systembolaget. Pours very dark reddish brown with a small brownish beige head that quickly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet, tiny sour and malty with roasted malts, dark rye bread, wet soil, cocoa powder, lemon zest, minerals, moss and hints of burnt caramel. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly bitter and malty with dark rye bread, ash, cocoa powder, wood, moist earth, minerals, lemon zest, liquorice root, caraway and subtle hints of phenols. Mouthfeel is rather crisp and light to medium bodied. Finish is tiny sweey and slightly bitter with very dark bread, lemon zest, wet soil, liquorice root, minerals and milk chocolate. Nothing spectacular but solid.
