Slowly drink several during a day and the last is as great as the first. Wish I could this beer in Texas. We typically bring back 15 cases after our summer trips to Wisconsin. There are many beers with more flavor but none that are as drinkable if you are having several. The other beer we bring back plenty of is Spotted Cow. Say, if the new govenor would relax the rules for exporting of Wisconsin beers , you guys could be back in the black pretty quick

Bottle: Dark gold with a small white head. Barley malt, slight baked bread aroma. Taste is sweet barley malt, a little earthy fruit.....mild herbal hops. Pretty good....nice, rich, lager feel....malty.

Bottle. Milky barley malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with nice off-white head. Mildly sweet milky barley malt and lightly bitter herbal hay flavor. Body a bit light. Not a bad beer - decent.

Bottle from the local convenience store. Pours a rich copper, no head to speak of, aroma is very sweet, bready, heavy floral notes, sweet orange. Taste is somewhat interesting- more floral, cinnamon, bread pudding, but ultimately has too much of a buttered popcorn backbone to it. Not sure if its a flaw or what they were going for. Thins out quickly. This would do in a pinch, but otherwise one and done for me...

Essers is one of the lesser known and smaller Wisconsin beers. It pours a golden amber color with a good scent of malts and hops. Upon tasting there is a good full flavor taste that is long lasting and delicious. I was certainly surprised by its taste. A must try for any Wisconsin beer lover.

One of the better Pale Lagers I have ever had. Lots of flavor, rich, and heavier than you would expect.

Golden color with a foamy white head. The aroma is a little grainy and sweet with a hint of yeast. The moderate carbonation gives this brew a slightly fizzy mouth feel that brings forth a light fruitiness. The initial hop taste is followed by a hint of citrus and a tart finish.

Plain, brutally so. It tastes probably like a buttery version of what high life tasted 100 years ago.

Bottle. Clear golden body. Fizzy, white head, rapidly diminishing. Sweet aroma of toasted grain, corn syrup, biscuit, brown sugar. Hint of caramel. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture turning slightly syrupy. Fizzy carbonation. Slight taste of corn and bready malts. Nice, though muted, bitterness in the finish. Above average pale lager.

Poured into a pint glass the beer is an orange golden color with a tiny bit of head. No lacing to be seen. The smell is sweet grain With a malty tone. The flavor is rather muted. Fairly dry. Some malt some hop bite but nothing really pops. The beer seems rather light in body. Moderate carbonation. This is a pretty standard german lager.
