Bottled. Poured a clear, cool shade of light-medium orange with a short cap of white head. The aroma was soft with some caramel and light fruits represented.. light floral accents.. pleasant. The flavor had sweet pale and caramel with fainter light fruits and a bit of orange.. honey and light adjuncts on the finish.. rather tasty. Lighter-bodied with OK balance.. creamy carbonation and a lightly bitter finish.. refreshing. Skyview (6055) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 23, 2007
Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Flanagan’s in Appleton, Wisconsin. Pours a light coppery amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a fine film and white bubbly ring. Aroma of light caramel malt, some corn grits, roasted nuts and flowery hops. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonation with a sour dough and slight bitter flavor. Finish is nutty and malty with a mild bitter aftertaste that slowly disappears. Nice to see another Wisconsin Pre-Prohibition label has been revived. prosqtor (408) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 4, 2007

Simple well made lager (oxymoron?). Thirst quenching. Pretty good for what it is. Better than many macro counterparts.
Pours a clear pale amber with a full beige head. Effervescent, good head retention and lace. Aroma is faint, generically malty. Flavor is sweet light malt, honeyed, offset by just a bit of floral hops. More husky and grainy in the finish, slightly flawed here. Thin to medium bodied, mild carbonation, quite drinkable.

Poured into a pint glass the beer is an orange golden color with a tiny bit of head. No lacing to be seen. The smell is sweet grain With a malty tone. The flavor is rather muted. Fairly dry. Some malt some hop bite but nothing really pops. The beer seems rather light in body. Moderate carbonation. This is a pretty standard german lager.

Actually tasted this one right in Cross Plains outside the brewery. It was a pale gold lager with a small head on it. Wasn't great and wasn't bad just a decent local brew. doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2007
Carmel, malt aroma. Copper with thin head. Full body, malty, with nut notes. Smooth with mild bitter finish. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 29, 2008
I was both suprised and impressed with this brew. It suprised me because I didn’t imagine the beer to be so full flavored, and it impressed me because it was a nicer tasting lager then imagined. Dark golden colour, full fluffy white head. Fruity aroma with pleasent biscuity malts on the palate and very rich taste. jcr (2705) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - FEB 9, 2011
Bottle. Clear golden body. Fizzy, white head, rapidly diminishing. Sweet aroma of toasted grain, corn syrup, biscuit, brown sugar. Hint of caramel. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture turning slightly syrupy. Fizzy carbonation. Slight taste of corn and bready malts. Nice, though muted, bitterness in the finish. Above average pale lager.
