Peculiar pale lager. Starts out fairly bland, typical pale malt sweetness. Then transitions into an unpleasant metallic/acidic off-flavor that leaves a lingering film on the palate, that’s hard to shake. Not a beer I’d ever order again.

Dragonfly1 (500) - Colorado, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Bottle from the local convenience store. Pours a rich copper, no head to speak of, aroma is very sweet, bready, heavy floral notes, sweet orange. Taste is somewhat interesting- more floral, cinnamon, bread pudding, but ultimately has too much of a buttered popcorn backbone to it. Not sure if it’s a flaw or what they were going for. Thins out quickly. This would do in a pinch, but otherwise one and done for me...

heemer77 (5361) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JAN 19, 2006
The body is dark gold with a white head. The aroma has some light grass and burnt cookies. There is also some light carrots. The taste is metallic with some carrots and raw dirty potato skins. A strange lager that could use more body. Too much carbonation and this finishes like seltzer water.

Bottle. Pours golden and fizzy. Some citrus notes and mild hops along with traces of corn. Fine for hot days.

Cornfield (5569) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - OCT 29, 2007
This pours a deep golden body with a slender, vanishing fizzy head. It has a grainy aroma, sweet with the distracting smell of candy corn. It has a bready malt flavor with a bit of caramel and a quiet metallic bitterness. Drinkable, but I’m glad I did a single bottle purchase.

Golden yellow with a thin white diminishing head. Aroma of sweet malts, corn and mild spices. Malted body comprised of corn and mild hops that finishes just a shade bitter and astringent. A bit watery.
